To all whom it may concern;

Be it known that I, GEORGE O. MONROE, of Newark, in the count)r of Essex and State of New Jersey, have invented or produced a Design for Tips of Satchel and Bag-Handles, of which the following is a specification:-

The metal tip-sockets of satchel and bag handles are usually of a colloidal shape, with a loop at the end for the bag-ring.

My design relates to the ornamental shape and configuration of the metallic handle-tip; and consists in the tapering prismatic form ot' the socket portion that is above the contracted neck and swelled loop.

In the drawing, Figure 1 is an elevation of the tip, and Fig. 2 is o. sectional plan of the same at the line a: x.

The socket portion of this handletip is prismatic, as shown. The section, Fig. 2, represents the same as octagonal, but the number G. O. MONROE.
