DESIGN FOR A TOV RAIL-CAR.
Specification forming part of Design No. 6,868, dated September 2, 1873; application {iled July 9, 1873. [Term of Patent 7 years.)
To all whom it Imay concern:
Be it known that I, WILLTAM A. HAuwooD, of Brooklyn, in the county of Kings and State of New York, have invented a new Design for Toy1 Car; and I do hereby declare the following, when taken in connection with the accompanying drawings and the letters of reference marked thereon, to be a full, clear, and exact description of the saine, and which said drawings constitute part of this specification, and represent, in
Figure 1, a side View; and in Fig. 2, an end View.
This invention relates to a design for toy raitears; and consists in the peculiar form of the roof of the ear, as shown in the accoinpanying drawings, and as hereinafter` described.
The peculiar characteristic of the root' is the formation of an angle between the ridge a and edge b, as at d. Between these points the roof is preferably made concave; yet, if preferred, the lilies may be straight from b to d and d to a., or one curved and the other straight, the essential feature of the design being the three prominent longitudinal lines or angles a` b d.
rlhe body A of the ear may be of any desir* able form or style, my claim being confined to the configuration ot the roof.
I claim as my invention- The design for the roof of a toy rail-car, substantially as herein described and shown.
