DESIGN FOR A SALT-GELLAR.
The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and making part of the same.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, JOHN B. LARNER, of the city and county of XVashington, in the District of Oolumbia, have invented a certain new and useful Design for a Salt-Cellar; and I do hereby declare that the following specification, taken in connection with the drawing furnished and forming part of the same, is a full, clear, and exact description thereof.
The drawing represents a side elevation of a saltcellar constructed in accordance with my design.
The body or shell A is provided at the top with an extended neck (somewhat similar to that of an ordinary caster-bottle) or opening, through which the salt is introduced.
This opening is closed, when desired, by means of il screw-cap, B.
The salt is removed through apertures O, formed in the sides of the body or shell A.
The cellar in the accompanying drawing is provided with only two apertures, but if desired the num ber may be increased to four, one on each side, each being provided with a hinged lid or covering, D.
Having thus described my invention,
I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent- The design for a salt-cellar herein described and represented.
