DESIGN FOR AN ORNAMENTAL STAND.

Be it kn own that I, EDMUND M. SAETTELE, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of St. Louis, in the State of Missouri, have invented and produced a new and original Design for an Ornamental Stand, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description.

The acoompanyi ng drawing is an elevation of a globe and stand therefor exhibiting my new design.

The leading feature of the design consists in the design forming the subject-matter of the accompanying illustration, in which the globe, on which appears a map of the world, is mounted upon a base having a broad cylindrical bottom portion and two superposed tapering concave portions, and the representation of a sword and a pen appear projecting above the globe.

As shown in the drawing, the pen A is a writing-pen, and the sword B has its hilt adjacent to the pen. The pen is a reproduction of Jeflersons historic pen and the sword a likeness of a Washington sword.

The globe 0, upon which appears a map of the world, is located upon a base D, having the tapering concave portions upon which appear emblems or decorations D and D.

Having thus described my invention, I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent The design for an ornamental stand, as herein shown and described.
