DESIGN FOR A TOP.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 31,017, dated June 13, was; Application filed May 16, 1899. Serial No. 717 100- Term ofpatent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, AUGUST SEILER, a citizen of the United States, residing at New York, in the county of New York and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Tops, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof, in Wl'll0l1 Figure 1 is a plan view showing my newlydesigned top in an upright position; Fig. 2, a central vertical section thereof, and Fig. 3 a side View showing a top in its normal position.
As shown in the drawings, my newly-designed top comprises a body portion a, which is conical in form, the apex thereof being flat, as shown at b, and the bottom being also flat, as shown at c, and parallel with the top. The body portion is also provided centrallyof the bottom with a projecting pin (Z, the end of which is pointed, as shown at e, and centrally of the top portion thereof with a handle f.
The conical part of the body portion a is provided with a plurality of facets 9, six of which are employed, and these facets are each provided with dots or characters h, ranging from one to six in number.
Having fully described my invention, I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent- The design for a top as herein shown and described.
