DESIGN FOR A CYCLOMETER-CASE.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 29,869, dated December 27, 1898.

Application filed September 27, 1897. Serial No. 653,256. Term of patent 14 years.

To all whom, it may concern.-

Be it known that I, GEORGE B. BASSETT, a citizen of the United States, residing at Buffalo, in the county of Erie and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Cases for Cyc1o1neters,of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawin gs, forming part thereof.

Figure 1 is a perspective view of my newlydesigned cycloineter-case. Fig. 2 is an end View, and Fig. 3 is a side elevation, of my case.

l'leretofore cyclometer cases have been made with curved or semicylindrical tops.

In my invention it will be seen that the top of the body A is in cross-section substantially semipolygonal in shape, with several ridges a extending lengthwise of the body and substantially parallel with its axis as well as with each other.

I is a sight-opening situated in the polygonal side of the body between two of the ridges a.

O is a raised rib, with bevel edges 0' formed on the bottom of body A.

The leading or material feature of my design consists of the casing with one side of a substantially semipolygonal cross-section having several ridges extending lengthwise thereof and substantially parallel with the axis of the casing and having an opening located between two of said ridges.
