DESIGN FOR A HAMMOCK-SUPPORT.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 29,422, dated September 27, 1898.
Application filed August 31, 1898. Serial No. 689,956- Term of patent 14; years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, ISAAC E. PALMER, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of Middletown, in the county of Middlesex and State of Connecticut, haveinvented and produced a new and original Design for a Hammock-Support, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part hereof.
The essential feature of my design consists inahainmock-support the backbone of which presents end sections offset in a lateral direction from a central section.
A further feature of the design is the gradual separation of the parts of the end sections from one another as they extend toward the opposite ends of the support.
In the accompanying drawings, Figure 1 represents the support in side elevation, and Fig. 2 represents the same in end elevation.
A represents the central backbone-section.
B B represent the end sections of the backbone, offset laterally from the central section A, and b I) represent the parts of the end sections which gradually separate from each other as they extend toward the opposite ends of the support.
\Vhat I claim is- The design for a hammock-support sub stantially as herein shown and described.
