DESlGN FOR A PARlNG-KNIFE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 29,378, dated September 20, 1898. Application filed Angnst19 1898. Serial No. 689,020. Term of patent '7 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it. known that I, MAURICE E. IIADDEN, of Savannah, in the county of \Vayne and State of New York, have invented and pr0- dnced a. new and original Design for a Paring-Knife, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact specification.
Reference is to be had to the accompanying drawings, forming a. part of this specification in which similar characters of reference indicate corresponding parts in all the figures.
Figure 1 is a perspective View of a paringknife, showing my design. Fig. 2 is a plan View of the same. Fig. 3 is a side elevation of the same, and Fig. 4 is a. transverse section of the same on the line 4 4 in Fig. 3.
The design consists of a handle A, from which projects the knife-blade B, formed with a double curve or corrugations B 13*, extending the entire length of the blade, with the back B curved downward near its outer end to terminate in a point, the curved portion B being dished or concaved, as plainly indicated in Fig. 4.
The leading feature of my design consists of a knife-blade curved in opposite directions, as at B W.
I claim The design for a paring-knife, as herein shown and described.
