ALBERT ROSENSTEIN, OF LANCASTER, PENNSYLVANIA.
DESIGN FOR A HANDLE FOR CANES OR UMBRELLAS.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 21,353, dated February 16, 1892. Application filed December 4, 1891. Serial No. 414,060- Term of patent 3% years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, ALBERT ROSENSTEIN, of Lancaster, in the county of Lancaster and State of Pennsylvania, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Designs for Umbrella, Parasol, or Cane Handles; and I do hereby declare the following be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it pertains to make and use it, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, which forms part of this specification.
My invention relates to a new and improved design for umbrella, parasol, or cane handles, of which the following is a specification, reference beinghad to the accompanying drawing, showing a part thereof.
The accompanying drawing is a representation of a handle embodying my design.
This design consists of a stem portion A,
which has its upper end flattened and formed into a volute B. This volute B is turned slantingfrom its lower end C to the point D,at which latter point it is slightly twisted to bring to this side of the handle the opposite side of the volute, as shown. Extending outward from the stem A is a small volute or knob E, just below the lower end of the large volute, which forms a handl1old.
Having thus described my design, what I claim, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, lS-
The design for a handle for umbrellas, para sols, or canes, substantially as herein shown and described.
