ALBERT ROSENSTEIN, OF LANCASTER, PENNSYLVANIA.
DESlGN FOR A HANDLE FOR CANES OR UMBRELLAS.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 21,352, dated February 16, 1892.
Application filed December 4, 1891- Serial No. 414,059. Term of patent 3%; years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, ALBERT ROSENSTEIN,
of Lancaster, in the county of Lancaster and have invented certain 5 new and useful Improvements in Designs for Umbrella, Parasol,
or Cane Handles; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full,
clear, and exact such as will enable r 5 the following is a specification,
to which it pertains description of the invention,
others skilled in the art to make and use it, reference being had to the accompanying drawing,
which forms part of this specification.
My invention relates to a new design for umbrella, parasol, o
r cane handles, of which reference being had to the accompanying drawing, showa part thereof.
The accompanyin g drawing represents the design embodying my invention.
A represents a stem, which has its upper end B bent slightly laterally, as shown, to the point C. From this point C the tapered stein D extends in the op posite direction from the bend of theend 13 and inclines slightly upward and has its end E curved inward, thus forming a hand-hold. Joined to this handheld E is a branch F, which extends inward to one side of the bent port-ion B,passing around the same, its end G, extending between a stem 11 and the portion B, as shown. The stem H extends upward from one side of the stem A and has its end I twisted around the branch F.
The elements above described form the essential features of my invention.
Having thus described my design, what I desire to secure by Letters Patent is- The design for a handle for umbrellas, parasols, or canes, substantially as herein shown and described.
