DESIGN FOR A PAPER-FASTENER.
SPECIFICATION frming part of Design No. 21,112, dated October 13, 1891.

Be it known that 1, GEORGE W. MCGILL, a citizen of the United Sfates, residing at Riverdale, New York, in the county of New York and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Pa per and other Fasteners, of which the followf ing is a specification.
This design has for its object to provide a novel and orn amenal paper or other fastener; and it consists in a fastener provided with an elliptical head having a continuous or unbroken convex upper surface and a flattened lower Surface, from the center of which extend two rectilinear superimposed prongs.
The design is illustrated by the accompanying drawings, in Which- Figure 1 is a perspective view looking at the upper surface of the fastener. Fig. 2 is a similar view looking at; the lower surface of the same, and Fig. 3 is a Joop plan view.
In the drawings, the numeral 1 indicates the le years.

The design provides a novel and ornamental paper or other fastener, which presents a strik ing: and characteristic appearance.
What l claim is- 'lhe design for a paper or other vfastener having an elliptical head provided with a continuous or unbroken convex upper surface and a fiat lower surface from the center of which extend two rectilinear superimposed prongs, substantially as shown and described.
