To all whom zit may concern.-
Beit known that I, J EAN GEO. THEoBoLD,a citizen of the United States, residing at North Attleborough, county of Bristol, and State of Massachusetts, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Spoon or Fork Handle, of which the following is a specification.
In the drawings I have illustrated my new design, showing the obverse side in Figure 1 and the reverse side in Fig. 2, having also indicated in these figures the outlines of a fork in dotted lines.
The leading feature of the design consists in the ornamentation at the apex of the handle and in the scrolls which extend along the sides beneath the ornamental top. As will be seen in Fig. 1, the top of the handle is provided with a crown piece A, and beneath this crown piece 011 each side are scrolls which overlap, as shown at B, and between the upper ends of the scrolls is an ornamental figure 0. Between the scrolls B Bis a plain portion D, and below the position of the scrolls B B the tapering portion of the handle is ornamented by scrolls, as shown at E, and ornamental lines F terminate at the lower end in an ornamental figure G. On the reverse side the same kind of ornamentationis followed, except that there is a plain center extending throughout the length of the handle and the scrollwork is lighter in design than upon the obverse side.
I claim The design for a spoon or fork handle as herein shown and described.
In testimony whereof I aftlx my signature in presence of two witnesses.
