To all whom it may concern Be it known that I, HENRY HoRArnpf East Orange, in the county of Essex nndStnte of New Jersey,hnve invented a new and original Design for Carpets, of which the following is a specification.

This invention relates to a new and original design for carpets and similar fabrics; and it consists in the novel grouping and configuration ot' figures hereinaftermore'ullydesoribed.

The accompanying photograph illustrates a face view oi'n carpet hnving my new design.

A is n large bouquet of rosesnnd other {iowers, buds, and leaves. B is :t lily-plant, with ower a. The gures A and B are placed side by side between ornamental bands b and d. Above the band d is a. peculiarformed leaf, c, having projecting angular stemsff and three foil leaves and buds thereon. The stelnsfterminute in a fanciful scroll, g, that rises above zo two leaves, hy h, and has nu ornamental pendant.,
