IMPROVED PROVISION SAFE AND TABLE.

Specification forming part of Letters Patent N o. 53,877, dated April l0, 1866.

To all lwhom it may concern:

Be it known that I, J ONATHAN S. ROBIN- SON, of the city and county Of Baltimore, in the State Of Maryland, have invented a certain new and useful Combined Provision Safe and Table, Of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, which make part of this specitication, and in which- Figure 1 represents a view, in perspective, of my combined safe and table, the leaves being' shown in red lines; and Fig. 2, a view, in elevation, of a portion of the same.

It is the Object Of my invention to provide a convenient, Ornamental, and useful article Of household furniture; and to this end my improvement consists in so combining the safe for preserving' provisions with the table that the safe shall support the table, While the table forms the top of the safe, as hereinafter described.

In order to carry out the Object of my invention, as shown in the drawings, I construct a stout frame, A, and cover its spaces With wiregauze B, or other suitable perforated material. The safe is provided on one side with doors C, but may have doors On all sides, if desired, and may be divided internallyy by shelving. The table D is attached to the top of the frame, and is provided With hinged or folding leaves D', held up by sliding bolts d, as shown in Fig. 2.

The combination of the safe A and table D, when constructed, arranged, and Operating as described.
