IMPROVEMENT IN ROSETTES FOR BRIDLES.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 202,111, dated April 9,1878; application filed February 20, 1878.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, .NAPOLEON LE 13mm, of Farmington, Dakota county, Minnesota, have invented a new and Improved Bridle- Rosette; and I hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description thereof, reference beinghadto the accompanying drawin gs, making part of this specification, in which- Figure 1 is a perspective view of a bridle. rosette with my improvements attached. Fig. 2 is a section through x as.
My invention relates to rosettes for bridles; and it consists in the combination of devices hereinafter described and claimed.
In the drawings, A represents the foundation of the rosette, made of metal, leather, or other suitable material, and provided on its under side with the groove a, for the reception of one side of the metal slide B, to which is rigidly attached the screw b, which passes through the center of the rosette and receives the cap 0.
It is evident that the rosettemay be removed at pleasure by simply unscrewing and removin g the cap.
The groove a strengthens and supports the screw b, and prevents the bending or breaking of the same.
