CARACTERIZADO PORQUE COMPRENDE: a) CULTIVAR UNA ESTIRPE MUTANTE EN UN MEDIO LIQUIDO; b) PRODUCIR Y ACUMULAR L-LISINA Y ACIDO L-GLUTAMICO EN EL MEDIO; c) RECOLECTAR ESTOS DESDE EL MEDIO; ESTA ESTIRPE MUTANTE PROVIENE DE UNA BACTERIA CORYNEFORM PRODUCTORA DE ACIDO L-GLUTAMICO, TENIENDO MUTACION PARA PROPORCIONAR LA PRODUCTIVIDAD DE L-LISINA Y MUTACION SENSIBLE A LA TEMPERATURA ANTE UN AGENTE SUPRESOR DE LA ACTIVIDAD DE LA BIOTINA, TAL COMO MONOPALMITATO DE POLIOXIETILENO SORBITANO, Y CAPACIDAD PARA PRODUCIR L-LISINA Y ACIDO L-GLUTAMICO EN AUSENCIA DEL AGENTE SUPRESOR DE BIOTINA, EN UN MEDIO CONTENIENDO EXCESO DE BIOTINA.
