Abstract

La invencion es una composicion adhesiva de una parte que comprende: A) i) un prepolímero de poliuretano funcional de isocianato que tiene un contenido de isocianato libre de 0.8 a 2.2 por ciento y partículas que comprenden un agente de curacion para un prepolímero de poliuretano funcional de isocianato encapsulado dentro de un material de revestimiento; o ii) un prepolímero que comprende el producto de reaccion de uno o más poliisocianatos; uno o más compuestos que contienen en promedio más de un compuesto reactivo de isocianato; y un triol de dispersion que contiene de alrededor de 10 a aproximadamente 60 por ciento en peso basado en la dispersion de partículas de un polímero orgánico que no es reactivo con los compuestos reactivos de isocianato y los poliisocianatos que tiene un tamaño de partículas de alrededor de 5 a aproximadamente 50 micras; en donde el prepolímero tiene un contenido de isocianato libre de alrededor de 0.8a aproximadamente 2.2 por ciento; y B) un catalizador capaz de catalizar la reaccion de porciones de isocianato con porciones reactivas de isocianato. Todavía en otra modalidad, la invencion es un proceso para unir dos substratos juntos que comprenden hacer contacto una composicion adhesiva de la invencion con por lo menos uno de los substratos y hacer contacto con los substratos juntos sobre la porcion del(los) substrato(s) al cual se ha aplicado el adhesivo antes de que se cure el adhesivo aplicado y permitiendo que el adhesivo se cure y una los substratos juntos.
