Microcápsulas novedosas biocompatibles y biodegradables de liberacion sostenida sin estallamiento que pueden ser programadas para liberar su nucleo activo en duraciones variables que varían de 1 a 100 días en un ambiente fisiologico acuoso; las microcápsulas comprenden un nucleo de polipéptido u otro agente biologicamente encápsulado en una matriz de copolímero de poli(láctida/glicolida) como de forma no bloqueadas (grupo extremo carboxilo libre) y formas bloqueadas en el extremo que varían en relaciones de 100/0 a 1/99.
