Abstract

Una silla comprende una sola pieza de asiento y soporte para la espalda, doblada de modo de formar un soporte de asiento inferior sustancialmente en forma de U, y un soporte para la espalda superior, sustancialmente erecto. Los medios de atiesamiento están montados en y entre las porciones superior e inferior de pata del soporte de asiento y funcionan para incrementar la resistencia con relación a la deflexión de la porción superior de pata. Los medios de control de tensión están montados moviblemente con relación a la porción inferior de pata del soporte de asiento para vinculación ajustable con los medios de atiesamiento para ajustar la resistencia de éstos a la deflexión relativa de la porción superior de pata del soporte de asiento.
