Abstract

Una mordaza de freno de hierro fundido con resistencia a la fatiga mejorada, y un proceso y equipo del proceso para pretensar una mordaza de freno de hierro fundido para proporcionar mejora en la resistencia a la fatiga, se proporciona. El proceso permite que una mordaza de freno de hierro fundido sea diseñada para usar menos material y así ajustarse a los limitados bordes de la rueda de la llanta, sin la necesidad de recurrir a materiales de alto costo o de otro tipo de estrategias de diseño alternativas.
