Abstract
Un método para preparar un precursor de catalizador de óxido de tantalio soportado o catalizador con distribución de Ta controlada y el catalizador de Ta soportado resultante. En una modalidad, el método comprende seleccionar un precursor de Ta con reactividad adecuada con los hidroxilos de superficie del material de soporte de óxido sólido para proporcionar una distribución de Ta deseada en el precursor de catalizador o catalizador. En una modalidad, el método comprende controlar la cantidad de hidroxilos de superficie disponibles en el material de soporte para reaccionar con el precursor de Ta mediante métodos térmicos, tal como calcinación, para lograr la distribución de Ta deseada.
