Abstract
Una suspensión para vehículos comprende un conjunto de un soporte de cubo y un brazo de soporte, el brazo de soporte estando unido al soporte de cubo en dos puntos separados entre sí en la dirección de avance y que se extiende hacia el interior desde el mismo a un punto de fijación del brazo de soporte para la fijación a una chasis, y un brazo oscilante longitudinal que se extiende desde el conjunto en una dirección transversal a la del brazo de soporte, hacia un punto de fijación del brazo oscilante longitudinal para la fijación al chasis. El brazo oscilante longitudinal se extiende preferiblemente desde el conjunto en una dirección hacia adelante, y preferiblemente está conectado directamente al soporte de cubo. Un puntal se puede extender hacia arriba hacia un punto de fijación para la fijación a un chasis, para proveer un resorte y amortiguador. El brazo de soporte puede comprender un par de brazos que se extienden en forma divergente desde el punto de fijación a cada uno de los dos puntos. Un enlace de control del ángulo de simetría se extiende generalmente paralelo a, pero separado del brazo trasero, enlazando el soporte de cubo en el chasis para proveer control de la geometría en condiciones de carga alta.
