Abstract

En un procedimiento de carga de un horno de cuba, en particular de un alto horno, los lotes del material de carga se descargan típicamente en una secuencia cíclica en el horno desde una tolva superior, utilizando una válvula de control del flujo; se propone un método y sistema para ajustar la velocidad de flujo del material de carga en tal proceso, se proporcionan las características predeterminadas de la válvula para ciertos tipos de material, cada una que indica la relación entre la velocidad de flujo y el ajuste de la válvula para un tipo de material; de acuerdo con la invención, las características específicas de la válvula se almacenan para cada lote de material de carga, cada una de las características específicas de la válvula está asociada de manera bijectiva a un lote e indica la relación entre la velocidad de flujo y el ajuste de la válvula de la válvula de control del flujo, de manera específica para el lote asociado; con relación a la descarga de un lote dado de la secuencia, la invención propone: - utilizar las características específicas de la válvula almacenadas, asociadas con el lote dado para determinar un ajuste de la válvula solicitado que corresponde a un punto de ajuste de la velocidad de flujo y utilizar el ajuste de la válvula solicitado para operar la válvula de control del flujo; - determinar una velocidad de flujo promedio real para la descarga del lote dado; - corregir las características específicas de la válvula almacenadas, asociadas con el lote dado, en caso de una desviación estipulada entre el punto de ajuste de la velocidad de flujo y la velocidad de flujo promedio real.
