Abstract

Un absorbedor metálico vehicular que absorbe de manera eficiente la energía de impacto ejercido de las piernas del peatón durante una carrera corta y que protege las piernas del peatón con las piezas aplastadas restantes en el caso de impacto entre un peatón y un automóvil. El absorbedor metálico vehicular comprende una pestaña central, un alma superior y un alma inferior que conducen hacia ambos lados de la pestaña central, una pestaña superior que conduce hacia el alma superior y una pestaña inferior que conduce hacia el alma inferior como un absorbedor prolongado con su superficie en sección transversal integralmente formada en forma de copa.
