Claims (7)
- 양호하게는 피복 또는 피복되지 않은 초경 합금인 경질 재료로 제조되고, 다각 기본형으로 이루어지고, 상기 레이크면(2)과, 가능하게는 그와 대향된 하부 레이크면과 작동 원형 절삭 코너(4)를 통해 상호 연결된 적어도 2개의 측면(3)과 레이크면 상에 신장된 주 랜드(7)를 포함하고, 상기 측면과 절삭 코너는 주 절삭 모서리(6)와 코너 절삭 모서리(5) 각각을 따라 레이크면(2)에 인접한 절삭 인서트에 있어서, 적어도 작동 절삭 코너에 인접한 주 랜드 상에서, 인접한 절삭 모서리를 따라 연장된 마이크로 릿지(11)와, 마이크로 릿지 후방에 위치한 주 랜드부(13)를 포함하는 마이크로 칩 브레이커(10)가 제공되고, 작동 절삭 코너에서 주 랜드의 전체 폭(a)은 0.1 내지 0.8㎜이고, 마이크로 릿지(11)의 폭(b)은 상기 폭의 25 내지 80%를 구성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 절삭 인서트.
- 제1항에 있어서, 작동 절삭 코너에서의 주 랜드(a)의 전체 폭은 0.1내지 0.6㎜인 것을 특징으로 하는 절삭 인서트.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 주 랜드부(13)에 대한 마이크로 릿지(11)의 높이(c)는 0.01내지 0.1㎜인 것을 특징으로 하는 절삭 인서트.
- 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 마이크로 칩 브레이커는 인서트 모서리의 전체 길이의 10내지 50% 사이에서 연장되고, 작동 절삭 코너에 인접한 주 절삭 모서리의 2개의 연장부의 교차점으로부터 시작되며, 인서트 모서리의 전체 길이는 상기 교차점과 그 다음 대응되는 교차점 사이의 거리로 한정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 절삭 인서트.
- 제1항 내지 제4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 모든 작동 절삭 모서리는 모서리 원형부(12)를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 절삭 인서트.
- 선행하는 청구항들 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 디프레션부(15)들이 작동 절삭코너와 연결되어 제공되고, 주 랜드부(13) 및 상기 랜드부에 인접한 하방 경사면(8) 사이의 파단선에 중첩되는 것을 특징으로 하는 절삭 인서트.
