Abstract

본 발명은 넓은 범위의 이송속도에 사용될 수 있느 낮은 절삭깊이의 마무리 절삭용 쓰로우어웨이 인서트에 관한 것이다.
파단기 홈은 센터랜드와 각각의 절삭엣지 사이에 제공된다.
아치형 작은 돌출부는 각각의 노즈부분의 이등분선상에 형성된다.
좁은 홈은 작은 돌출부에 형성된다. 이송속도가 작을때 발생된 얇은 칩은 돌출부에 형성된 홈에 의해 구부러져서 파단된다.
이송속도가 클때 발생된 두꺼운 칩은 홈을 따라 안내되어 센터랜드의 엣지와 충돌한다. 그 결과 두꺼운 칩은 엣지에 의해 또한 부드럽게 구부러져서 절단된다.

본 내용은 요부공개 건이므로 전문내용을 수록하지 않았음
제1도는 일실시예의 일부를 확대한 평면도.
제2도는 칩이 좁은 홈에 의해 어떻게 변형되는지를 제1도의 선(X-X)을 따라 취하여 도시한 단면도.
제3도는 이송속도가 클때 칩이 어떻게 배출되는지를 제1도의 선(Y-Y)을 따라 취하여 도시한 단면도.

Claims (3)

  1. 쓰로우어웨이 인서트에 있어서, 절삭엣지, 센터랜드, 노즈부분 상기 절삭엣지와 상기 센터랜드 사이에 형성된 파단기 홈, 및 상기 인서트의 상기 노즈부분의 이등분선상의 상기 파단기 홈에 제공된 아치형 작은 돌출부를 갖고 있으며, 상기 작은 돌출부의 각각이 상기 각각의 노즈부분의 상기 이등분선 방향으로 뻗어 있는 좁은 홈으로 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 쓰로우어웨이 인서트.
  2. 쓰로우어웨이 인서트에 있어서, 절삭엣지, 센터랜드, 노즈부분, 상기 절삭엣지와 상기 센터랜드 상이에 형성된 파단기 홈, 및 상기 인서트의 상기 노즈부분의 이등분선 상에 뻗도록 상기 파단기 홈으로 부터 비스듬히 후방으로 올라온 파단기 벽을 가지고 있으며, 상기 절단기 벽의 각각이 상기 각각의 노즈부분의 상기 이등분선 방향으로 뻗은 좁은 홈으로 형성된 것을 특징으로 하는 쓰로우어웨이 인서트.
  3. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 좁은 홈은 상기 노즈부분의 상기 이등분선상에 배치되고 상기 파단기 홈을 가로질러 뻗고 있어 그 한쪽 끝이 상응하는 노즈팁에서 종결되는 것을 특징으로 하는 쓰로우어웨이 인서트.
