Claims (6)
- 전이계열의 알루미나에 적용적고 1 : 1 내지 20 : 1의 중량비로 팔라듐과 로듐을 0.03 내지 3중량% 함유하는 활성 상을 가지며 이산화세륨을 함유하고 [여기서, 귀금속, 이산화세륨 및 알루미나의 중량 합계는 100%이다.]; 격자-안정화되거나 안정화될 수 없는 담체 물질을 팔라듐과 로듐염의 수용액에 함침시키고, 수소-함유 기체 스트림 속에서 250℃ 이상의 온도에서 건조, 가열하여 수득한 촉매에 있어서, 알루미나가 벌크형태로 존재하는 경우에는 5 내지 20중량%의 이산화세륨을 함유하며, 알루미나가 세라믹 또는 금속의 벌집 형태의 불활성 담체 위에 피복물로서 존재하는 경우에는 25 내지 50중량%의 이산화세륨을 함유하고 [여기서, 알루미나는 팔라듐과 로듐염의 용액에 함침시키기 전에 세륨염의 수용액에 함침시키거나, 알루미나가 벌집 형태의 불활성 담체 위에 존재하는 경우, 세륨 화합물은 고체 형태로 알루미나와 혼합된다], 수득된 촉매 전구체가 300 내지 950℃의 공기 속에서 가열됨을 특징으로 하는 촉매.
- 제1항에 있어서, 20중량% 이하의 알루미나가 이산화지르코늄, 산화란탄(La2O3), 산화네오다뮴(Nd2O3), 산화프라세오디뮴(Pr6O11) 또는 산화니켈(NiO)로 개개로 물질을 형태 또는 혼합물로서 대체되는 촉매.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 산화세륨이 아세트산세륨(Ⅲ)의 형태로 도입되는 촉매.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 알루미나의 격자가 알칼리토금속 산화물, 실리카 또는 이산화지르코늄에 의해 또는 희토류 금속의 산화물에 의해 안정화되는 촉매.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 알루미나가 불활성 벌집 형태의 담체 이에 피복물로서 침착되는 경우, 이산화세륨을 함유하며 기타 성분들을 함유할 수도 있는 알루미나가 두 층[여기서, 제1층은 팔라듐염 수용액에 함침되고 건조된 다음, 가열되고, 제2층은 로륨염 수용액에 함침되고 건조된다]으로 수성 현탁액에 의해 불활성 담체위에 적용되며, 이와 같이 수득된 촉매 전구체가 수소-함유 기체 스트림 속에 가열됨을 특징으로 하는 촉매.
- 내연기관의 배기 가스로부터 일산화탄소, 탄화수소 및 질소 산화물을 동시에 전환시키기 위한, 제1항에 따르는 촉매의 용도.
