Description
Claims (14)
- 메모리에 텍스쳐패턴을 기억시키는 단계와, 화상 폴리곤으로부터 정점외에 적어도 하나의 부가점을 선택하는 단계와, 상기 정점과 상기 부가점에 투시변환을 수행하는 단계와, 상기 부가점의 보간에 대응하여 상기 메모리로부터 독출된 텍스쳐픽셸을 특정화하는 단계와를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상생성방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 텍스쳐픽셸을 상기 폴리곤에 맵핑하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상생성방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 선택단계는 변환된 폴리곤의 영역에 대응하여 상기 부가점의 수를 선택하는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상생성방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 선택단계는 변환된 폴리곤의 영역에 대응하여 상기 부가점의 위치를 선택하는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상생성방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 특정화단계는 변환되고 각각의 선형으로 보간된 점에 대응하여 상기 메모리수단으로부터 독출된 텍스쳐픽셸을 특정화하는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상생성방법.
- 제1항 내지 제4항 중의 어느 하나에 있어서, 상기 부가점상에 선형보간을 수행하는 단계를 더 포함하며 이에 의해 변형이 최소화되는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상생성방법.
- 메모리에 텍스쳐패턴을 기억시키는 수단과, 화상 폴리곤으로부터 정점외에 적어도 하나의 부가점을 선택하는 수단과, 상기 정점과 상기 부가점에 투시변환을 수행하는 변환수단과, 상기 부가점의 보간에 대응하여 상기 메모리로부터 독출된 텍스쳐픽셸을 특정화하는 특정화수단과를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상생성장치.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 텍스쳐픽셸을 상기 폴리곤에 맵핑하기 위한 묘화수단을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상생성장치.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 선택수단은 변환된 상기 폴리곤의 영역에 대응하여 상기 부가점의 수를 선택하는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상생성장치.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 선택수단은 변환된 상기 폴리곤의 영역에 대응하여 상기 부가점의 위치를 선택하는 것을 특징으로 하는 텍스쳐맵핑장치.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 특정화수단은 각각의 변환되고 선형으로 보간된 점에 대응하여 상기 메모리로부터 독출된 텍스쳐픽셸을 특정화하는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상생성장치.
- 그래픽으로 표시될 피사체의 3차원 화상에 관한 정보의 기본단위를 형성하는 폴리곤영역에 텍스쳐를 맵핑하는 시스템에 있어서, 상기 폴리곤영역으로부터 대표점을 추출하는 대표점추출수단과, 상기 대표점추출수단을 통하여 추출된 상기 대표점의 좌표에 대한 투시변환을 수행하는 투시변환수단과, 상기 투시변환수단을 통하여 상기 투시변환이 이루어진 대표점들 사이에 선형보간을 수행하기 위한 선형보간수단과, 를 포함하고, 이에 의해 상기 텍스쳐화상이 상기 폴리곤영역에 부가된 화상정보가 왜곡의 최소화 및 감소된 계산을 지닌 상기 선형보간수단으로부터 발생되는 보간출력으로써 얻어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 텍스쳐맵핑을 위한 시스템.
- 제12항에 있어서, 상기 추출수단에 의해 추출된 상기 대표점의 수가 상기 폴리곤 영역의 사이즈에 따라 변하는 것을 특징으로 하는 텍스쳐맵핑을 위한 시스템.
- 화상점들의 3차원 좌표를 포함하는 화상데이터를 기억시키는 단계와, 좌표변환수단으로부터 통상 생성되는 화상왜곡을 최소화하기 위해, 상기 화상데이터내의 상기 3차원 좌표이외에 상기 화상데이터내의 부가점에 대한 부가적인 대표좌표를 선택하는 단계와, 화상점의 상기 3차원 좌표와 상기 부가적인 대표좌표를 최소의 계산을 요하면서 최소의 왜곡을 지닌 2차원 화상데이터로 변환하기 위해, 상기 화상데이터와 상기 부가점을 선형보간하여 변환하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상데이터 처리방법.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
