Description
Claims (26)
- 다음 단단계들을 포함하여 구성되는, 수불용성 중합체 입자들의 수성 분산액의 제조방법. (a) 하나 이상의 모노에틸렌계 불포화 단량체들 및 최소한 5몰퍼센트의 카르복시산 또는 무수물 단량체를 포함하는 코어 단량체 시스템을 자유 라디칼 개시제를 함유하는 수성 매체내에서 연속 유화 중합시켜, 0.05-1 미크론의 평균 직경을 갖는 분산된 코어 입자들을 형성함. (b)상기 단계 (a)에서 산출된 분산된 코어 입자들의 존재하에서, 이온화가능한 기를 갖지 않는 최소한 하나의 모노에틸렌계 불포화 단량체를 포함하는 셀 단량체 시스템을 중합시켜 코어 입자들 상에 셀 중합체를 형성함. 여기서, 셀 단량체 혼합물 내의 모노에틸렌계 불포화 카르복시산을 셀 단량체들의 10몰퍼센트 이하의 양으로 존재하며, 결과의 코어/셀 입자들은 중화 및 팽윤전 0.07-4.5 미크론의 평균 직경을 갖고, 코어-형성 단량체(들)과 셀-형성 단량체(들)의 상대적 양은 결과의 분산 입자들내 총 중합체 중량에 대한 코어 중량의 비가 1:2 내지 1:100이 되는 것임.(c) 형성된 상기 입자들을 상기 코어가 팽윤되도록 염기와 함께 중화시켜 코어 내에 미소공극을 포함하며 그 미소공극들을 입자 외부로 연결하는 하나 이상의 홈들을 갖는 입자들을 형성함.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 코어를 팽윤시키는데 사용된 염기가 암모니아, 아민, 수산화나트륨, 수산화칼륨 및 수산화리튬으로 구성된 군으로 부터 선택된 것인 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 코어를 팽윤시키는데 사용된 염기가 암모니아인 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 코어 단량체들의 최소한 10몰퍼센트가 카르복시산기를 갖는 것인 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 코어 단량체들의 최소한 30몰퍼센트가 카르복시산기를 갖는 것인방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 카르복시산 또는 무수물 기를 갖는 상기 코어 단량체들이 아크릴산, 메타크릴산, 아크릴옥시프로피온산, 메타크릴옥시프로피온산, 아크릴옥시아세트산, 메타크릴옥시아세트산, 모노메틸 산 멜레에이트, 모노메틸산 이타코네이트, 크로톤산, 아코니트산, 말레산, 말레산 무수물, 푸마르산, 모노메틸 푸마레이트 및 메타크릴산 무수물로 구성된 부터 선택된 것인방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 카르복시산기를 갖는 상기 코어 단량체가 메타크릴산인 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 5몰퍼센트 이하의 상기 셀 단량체들이 카르복시산기를 갖는 것인 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 코어 성분 대 상기 셀 성분의 중량비가 1:4 내지 1:15인 것인 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 형성된 입자들의 최소한 85%가 코어내에 미소공극을 포함하고 그 미소공극을 입자의 외부로 연결하는 하나 이상의 홈을 갖는 것인 방법.
- 중공 코어, 그 코어를 둘러싼 셸, 및 중공 코어를 입자 외부로 연결하는 최소한 하나의 홈을 포함하며 0.1-5.0 미크론의 평균 직경을 갖는 중합체 입자.
- 제11항에 있어서, 모노에틸렌계 불포화 단량체들의 수성 유화중합에 의하여 형성된 것인 중합체 입자.
- 제11항에 있어서, 다음 단계들에 의하여 형성된 것인 중합체입자.(a) 하나이상의 모노에틸렌계 불포하 단량체들 및 최소한 5몰퍼센트의 카르복시산 또는 무수물 단량체를 포함하는 코어 단량체 시스템을 자유 라디칼 개시제를 함유하는 수성 매체내에서 연속 유화 중합시켜, 0.05-1미크론의 평균직경을 갖는 분산된 코어 입자들을 형성함.(b) 상기단계 (a)에서 산출된 분산된 코어 입자들의 존재하에서, 이온화가능한 기를 갖지 않는 최소한 하나의 모노에틸렌계 불포화 단량체를 포함하는 셸 단량체 시스템을 중합시켜 코어 입자들 상에 셸 중합체를 형성함. 여기서, 셸 단량체 혼합물 내의 모노에틸렌계 불포화 카르복시산을 셸 단량체들의 10몰퍼센트 이하의 양으로 존재하며, 코어-형성 단량체(들)과 셸-형성 단량체(들)의 상대적 양은 결과의 분산 입자들내 총 중합체 중량에 대한 코어 중량의 비가 1:2 내지 1:100이 되는 것이고, 코어를 입자의 외부로 연결하는 최소한 하나의 홈은 상기 코어가 팽윤되도록 상기 입자들을 염기와 함께 중화시킴에 의하여 형섬됨.
- 제13항에 있어서, 상기 코어를 팽윤시키는데 사용된 염기가 암모니아, 아민, 수산화나트륨, 수산화칼륨, 및 수산화리튬으로 구성된 군으로부터 선택된 것인 중합체 입자.
- 제13항에 있어서, 상기 코어를 팽윤시키는데 사용된 염기가 암모니아인 것인 중합체 입자.
- 제13항에 있어서, 상기 코어 단량체들의 최소한 10몰퍼센트가 카르복시산기를 갖는 것인 중합체 입자.
- 제13항에 있어서, 상기 코어 단량체들의 최소한 30몰퍼센트가 카르복시산기를 갖는 것인 중합체 입자.
- 제13항에 있어서, 카르복시산 또는 무수물기를 갖는 상기 코어 단량체들이 아크릴산, 메타크릴산, 아크릴 옥시프로피온산, 메타크릴옥시프로피온산, 아크릴옥시아세트산, 메타크릴옥시아세트산, 모노메틸산 말레에이트, 모노메틸산 이타코네이트, 크로톤산, 아코니트산, 말레산, 말레산 무수물, 푸마르산, 모노메틸 푸마레이트 및 메타크릴산 무수물로 구성된 군으로부터 선택된 것인 중합체 입자.
- 제13항에 있어서, 카르복시산기를 갖는 상기 코어 단량체가 메타크릴산인 것인 중합체 입자.
- 제13항에 있어서, 5몰퍼센트 이하의 상기 셸 단량체들이 카르복시산기를 갖는 것인 중합체 입자.
- 제13항에 있어서, 코어 성분 대 셸 성분의 중량비가 1:4 내지 1:10인 중합체 입자.
- 제13항에 있어서, 수성 상 대 중합체 입자들의 중량비가 10:1 이하인 것인 중합체 입자.
- 제11항에 있어서, 중공 코어를 입자 외부로 연결하는 하나의 홈을 갖는 중합체 입자.
- 중합체 필름들을 강화시키는데 유효한 양으로 사용되는 청구범위 13항의 중합체 입자의 용도.
- 코팅 조성물들에서 불투명화제로 유화한 양으로 사용되는 청구 범위 13항의 중합체 입자의 용도.
