Claims (9)
- 균일한 길이의 패킷들(셀들)로 분할된 제1유형의 메시지들(예컨대, 동기식 전송 모드 STM) 및 균일한 길이의 패킷들(셀들)로 분할된 제2유형의 메시지들(예컨대, 비동기식 전송모드, ATM)을 특히 다단 스위칭 회로망에서 스위칭하는 방법으로서, 상기 제1유형의 메시지들은 패킷들(STM 셀들)로 분할되게 하여, 주기적인 프레임내에서 적어도 하나의 시간간격이 상기 제1유형의 각각의 메시지로 이용될 수 있도록 하고, 상기 제1유형의 메시지들은 동기식 시분할 멀티플레싱을 이용하여 스위칭 되도록 하는 메시지 스위칭 방법에 있어서, 스위칭 이전에, 모든 패킷들(DS1, CS2, PS1, PS2, PS3, LP, DP)이 동일한 길이의 다수의 서브패킷(즉, 40)으로 분할되게 하여, 프레임이 다수의 서브프레임으로 분할되어 한 프레임 내의 서브패킷의 갯수가 한 프레임내의 패킷들(즉, 70)의 갯수와 같아질 때 상기 서브패킷들이 재분류 되도록 하는 단계와, 스위칭 이후에, 한 패킷에 속하는 서브패킷들이 재결합되도록 하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 메시지 스위칭 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1유형의 메시지(CS, CS2)에 속하는 상기 서브패킷들은 각각의 서브 프레임 내의 동일한 위치를 프레임내의 전체 패킷(제1도 참조)으로서 점유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 제2유형의 메시지(PS1, PS2, PS3)에 속하는 상기 서브패킷들은 상기 제1유형의 메시지들(CS1, CS; 제2도 참조)에 속하는 서브패킷들에 의해서는 점유되지 않는 서브 프레임들의 위치내에 그 순서대로 분류되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제3항에 있어서, 메시지 내용(LP)을 전혀 갖지 않는 상기 프레임내의 시간 간격 및 제어정보(DP)는 제2유형의 메시지들(PS1, PS2, PS3)에 속하는 패킷들과 마찬가지로 처리되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제4항중 어느 한항에 있어서, 상기 스위칭 회로망의 각각의 단에서, 제1유형의 메시지들에 속하는 각각의 서브 패킷들이 동기식 시분할 멀티플렉싱을 이용하여 입력 서브프레임의 위치에서 출력서브프레임의 위치로 변환하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제3항 또는 제4항에 있어서, 상기 스위칭 회로망의 각 단에서, 상기 제1유형의 메시지들에 속하는 각각의 서브패킷들이 동기식 멀티플렉싱을 이용하여 입력 서브프레임의 위치에서 출력 서브프레임의 위치로 변환되고, 또 상기 스위칭 회로망의 각 단에서, 제2유형의 한 메시지의 한 패킷에 속하는 서브패킷들은 먼저 하나의 패킷으로 결합된 다음 다시 서브 패킷들로 분할되어, 제1유형의 메시지들에 속하는 서브패킷에 의해서는 점유되지 않는 연속 출력 서브 프레임들의 위치로 분류되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 균일한 길이의 패킷들(셀들)로 분할되어 주기적인 프레임들로 내장되는 제1 및 제2유형의 메시지들을 스위칭하기 위해 다단 스위칭 회로망을 갖는 스위칭 설비에 있어서, 상기 스위칭 회로망으로 작동하는 각각의 라인(41)에 따라, 모든 패킷들(CS1, DS2, PS1, PS3, SP, DP)을 동일한 길이의 다수의 서브패킷들로 분할하여, 상기 프레임은 다수의 서브프레임들로 분할되고 한 서브프레임 내의 패킷들의 갯수는 한 프레임내의 패킷들의 갯수와 같아지도록 적시에 상기 서브패킷들을 재분류하는 입력분류기(10)와, 출력으로 동작하는 각각의 라인(43)에 따라, 한 패킷에 속하는 서브패킷들을 재결합시키는 출력분류기(30)을 구비하여, 제1항에 따른 방법을 수행하도록 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 입력분류기(10)는 입력메모리(15)와 기입 및 판독제어부(17,18)를 추가로 구비하는데, 상기 기입 및 판독 제어부(17,18)의 제어에 따라 상기 프레임이 서브프레임들로 분할되도록 입력 메모리(15)내에 정보가 기입되고 또 그 입력 메모리(15)로부터 정보가 판독되는 것을 특징으로 하는 스위칭 설비.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 출력분류기(30)는 출력메모리(34)와 기입 및 판독제어부(37,38)를 추가로 구비하는데, 상기 기입 및 판독 제어부(37,38)의 제어에 따라 서브프레임들이 프레임들과 결합되도록 출력 메모리(34)내에 정보가 기입되고 또 그 출력 메모리(34)로부터 정보가 판독되는 것을 특징으로 하는 스위칭 설비.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
