남자용 요실금(尿失禁) 보호대
제1도는 제1실시예에 따른 납작한 상태의 요실금 보호대.

본 발명은 용기와 같은 형태로 사용자의 음경을 전부 혹은 부분적으로 감싸도록 하는 종류의 남자용 요실금 보호대에 관한 것으로서 이것의 구성은 불침투성 재료의 외면과 침투성 재료의 내면 및 흡수성 재료의 중간부분으로 되어 있다.
종래의 요실금 보호대는 보통 모양이 평평하고 장방형인 기저귀 형태로 되어 있으나 이와 같은 기저귀는 소변과 배설물을 흡수하기 위한 것으로서 소변만을 포집하는 요실금 보호대가 필요한 사람에게는 적당치 않다. 이같은 기저귀는 어느 일정한 넓이를 구비해야 하며 따라서 흡수 부분도 만족스러운 흡수성을 갖기 위해서는 일정한 두께를 구비해야 한다. 따라서 이같은 기저귀는 사용자의 다리사이에 기저귀에 크기에 상당하는 공간을 차지하는 마찰에 의해 상처를 내게하는 원인이 되며 또한 기저귀가 흠뻑 젖게 되어서 사용중에 다리사이에서 압력을 받게 되면 배설된 액체가 기저귀의 가장자리로 누출되기도 한다.
또 액체 불침투성 재료의 외증과 이것의 내부에 설치된 흡수성 재료로 구성되는 용기형 요실금 보호대가 있는데 이같은 종류의 요실금 보호대는 음경의 크기가 보통이어서 이것이 용기내에 감싸질 수 있는 사람의 경우에 있어서는 매우 만족스러운 기능을 하지만 사용자의 음경이 비교적 소형일 경우에는 용기내의 적정위치에서 음경이 이탈하는 위험이 있다.
또한 노인과 같이 음경이 작아서 호스형 케이스내에 만족스럽게 수용될 수 없을 경우 적절한 요실금 보호대를 마련하는 것이 문제가 된다.
스웨덴왕국 특허 426,206호에 용기형 요실금 보호대를 적절한 위치에 유지시키는 문제와 음경이 소형인 사람에 관한 문제를 해결하기 위해 시도된 요실금 보호대가 설명되어 있는데 이 요실금 보호대는 음경근에 밀착밀폐하여 본 용기를 보다 안전하게 유지하도록 설치된다. 이것에 의한 요실금 보호대는 서로 마주하고 있는 두쌍의 단부로 구성된 평평한 호스형 부재로 되어 있으며 이 호스형 부재는 3개의 단부가 연결되고 4번째 단부가 개방된 평행사변형 형태이며 따라서 개방부에서 예각 모서리 및 둔각 모서리를 얻을 수 있다. 본 요실금 보호대를 착용하면 예각 모서리는 상부로 향하고 둔각 모서리는 하향이 된다. 개방단이 용기의 장축에 수직으로 놓이는 종래의 소변포집 용기와 달리 전술한 특허에 의한 요실금 보호대에 있어서는 상기 개방부의 측단이 음경근의 측단을 따라 비스듬하게 상부쪽으로 연장되어 사용자의 음경이 비교적 소형일지라고 비교적 안전하게 음경을 적절한 위치에 유지시키게 된다.
전술한 요실금 보호대 측 사용자의 음경을 감싸도록한 요실금 보호대는 전적으로 만족스러운 기능을 수행하지 못하며 또한 의도된 위치로부터 쉽사리 미끄러질 수 있다.
본 발명은 음경주위에 요실금 보호대를 안전하게 유지시키기 위한 수단으로서 사용자의 음경 및 음낭을 이용하는 개념에 그 기초를 두고 있으며 따라서 본 발명의 특징은 요실금 보호대가 전면부와 배면부 및 이들을 연결하며 이들보다 좁은 부분으로 용기형 요실금 보호대의 바닥으로서 작용하는 중심부로 구성되며, 사용자의 음경 및 음낭을 감싸도록 하며, 배면부의 끝단으로 부터 연장된 요부가 배면부단에 설비되며, 상기 요부에 의해 배면부 상에 형성되고 이들 양측에 위치하는 날개형 부분이 사용자의 음낭밑에 견고하게 압박되도록 하는 것 등이다. 또한 본 요실금 보호대의 흡수층은 적절히 부드럽고 압축 가능하며 흡수기능외에 또한 날개형 부분에 안정성을 부여하며 본 요실금 보호대가 사용자의 음낭밑에서 견고하게 유지되도록 압축되어 틀을 이루도록 하는 것이다.
본 요실금 보호대는 사용자의 음경 및 음낭을 모두 감싸도록 되어있으므로 음경이 소형인 사람에 있어서도 보다 완전하게 유지된다.
하나의 적절한 실시예에 따르면 본 요실금 보호대의 내면 및 외면은 흡수층을 초과하여 측방으로 연장되어 함께 결합된 부분을 구비한다. 요실금 전면부상의 이들 부분들의 외단은 밀폐된 용기 즉 방수용기를 형성하도록 배면부상의 대응되는 부분들에 밀폐 결합된다.
중심부내 흡수층의 측방 연장부는 너무 크지 않아야 하는데 그렇지 않으면 사용자의 살에 끼어 마찰이 생긴다. 종방향으로 보아서 본 요실금 보호대의 전면부 및 배면부의 크기는 사용자의 음경 및 음낭을 모두 수용하도록 선택한다. 사용자의 살에 끼어 마찰이 일어나는 현상을 피하기 위해서는 흡수층의 측면 연장부의 길이가 전면부 및 배면부 각 길이의 1/2 이하이어야 하며 또한 만족스러운 흡수능력을 갖추기 위해서는 전면부 및 배면부 각 길이의 1/4 이상이 되어야 한다.
요실금 보호대의 중심부가 사용자의 심낭을 수용할 수 있도록 하기 위해서는 본 보호대의 내외면의 측방연장부가 실제로 흡수층 연장부의 1.5-2배 정도가 되어야 한다.
하나의 적절한 실시예에 의하면 인장된 탄력성실이 중심부를 가로질러 설치되어 흡수층 밖으로 연장된 날카로운 단을 한데 모아 요실금 보호대의 내외부를 형성한다.
본 요실금 보호대의 배면부내에 형성된 요부는 실제로 U자형으로써 사용자의 음낭기 부주위에 밀착밀폐된다.
또 하나의 적절한 실시예에 의하면 사용자의 음경 및 음낭 주위에 본 보호대를 밀착시키기 위하여 1개 이상의 인장된 탄성실이 요실금 보호대를 가로질러 배열될수도 있다.
이제 도면을 참고로 하여 실시예를 보다 상세하게 설명하면 다음과 같다.
본 발명에 따른 요실금 보호대는 폴리에틸렌과 같은 액체 불침투성 재료로 만들어진 외면(1)과 비 직조재료로서 액체 불침투성 재료로 만들어진 내면(2) 및 솜털이 나 있는 중간흡수층(3)으로 되어 있으며 전면부(4)와 배면부(5) 및 이들에 비해 좁은 중심부(6)로 구성되어 있다.
본 요실금 보호대를 착용했을때의 심낭뒤에 위치하는 배면부(5)에는 요부(7)가 설비되어 있으며 제1도에 도시되어 있는 바와 같이 요부(7)의 형상은 U자형이다.
본 요실금 보호대의 내면 및 외면 즉 액체침투층 및 액체 불침투층은 흡수층 주위 및 외부로 연장되어 상호 연결되는 부분(8, 9, 10 및 11)을 구비하고 있다.
본 요실금 보호대가 착용되었을때 이것은 중심선(12) 주위에서 접혀지며 전면부(4)는 음경 및 음낭의 전방에 놓이고 한편 배면부(5)는 후방에 놓인다.
U자형 요부(7)가 음낭주위에 놓이게 되면 상기 요부를 결정하는 단은 상기 음낭부에 밀착되고 본 보호대가 소정의 위치에 놓이게 되면 요부의 양측에 위치한 각각 13 및 14로 표시된 날개형 부분은 사용자의 음낭 밑에 위치하게된다. 상기 날개형 부분에 이웃해 있는 흡수층의 이들 부분 및 나머지 흡수층 부분은 최소한 5밀리미터 두께이며 부드럽고 압축이 가능하다. 이 날개형 부분이 일정한 두께 및 압축형을 구비하므로 이것은 사용자의 음낭밑에 견고하게 끼워져 본 보호대를 제위치에 유지시키는데 커다란 작용을 한다. 제1도에 도시되어 있는 본 요실금 보호대의 전면부상의 단부가 배면부의 단부에 압축밀착되어 소정의 위치에 유지되고 있다. 따라서 본 요실금 보호대는 용기형 보호대내에 사용자의 음경 및 음낭을 감싸게 된다.
제2도 및 제3도에 도시된 요실금 보호대는 중심선을 따라 접혀지는것 즉 전면부(4) 및 배면부(5)가 흡수층을 초과하여 돌출된 단(15 및 16)을 따라 함께 결합되는 것이 전술한 것과 다르다. 제1도의 요소에 대응되는 이들 제2도,제3도 요실금 보호대의 내외면은 동일한 숫자로써 표시하였다. 요실금 보호대의 내외면의 중심부에 날카로운 돌출 모서리가 생기지 않도록(이와 같은 모서리는 사용자의 다리사이에 끼어 마찰을 일으키는 경향이 있음) 요실금 보호대의 중심부에는 인장된 탄력성실(17)이 설치된다. 이 탄력성실은 요실금 보호대 바닥에 있는 날카로운 단을 한데 모아서 제거하도록 하는 것이다.
밀폐 용접과 같은 방법으로 단(15, 16)을 따라 본 요실금 보호대의 전면부 및 배면부를 연결한 결과 제1도에 도시되어 있는 실시예와 대조를 이루는 밀폐된 용기를 얻을 수 있으며 이것으로써 본 보호대의 측면 주위의 누출 위험을 완전히 제거한다.
사용자의 샅에 끼어 마찰이 일어나는 현상을 피하기 위해 상기 중심부 흡수층의 측면 연장부 즉 용기의 바닥은 50밀리미터를 초과해서는 안된다. 그러나 이 정도의 연장부로서는 사용자의 음경 및 음낭을 수용하는데 충분치 않으므로 본 요실금 보호대의 내외면을 형성하는 층(1, 2)은 실제로 상기 중심부 흡수층(3)을 초과하여 연장되며 전체폭이 90밀리미터정도 되어야 한다. 음경 및 음낭을 만족스럽게 수용하기 위해서는 용기 바닥과 U자형 요부(7)의 정점사이의 거리는 배면부(5) 길이의 반을 약간 초과해야하며 보통 85밀리미터 정도가 된다. 보통 전면부 및 배면부의 길이는 약 150밀리미터 정도로 동일하며 이 경우 요부(7)의 깊이는 60-70밀리미터가 된다.
이처럼 제2도 및 제3도에서 설명된 본 요실금 보호대는 비록 사용자의 음경이 소형일지라도 음경 및 음낭부위의 소정위치에 밀착되게 된다. 전술한 바와 같이 종전의 요실금 보호대 즉 사용자의 음경만을 감싸도록한 것과 비교했을때 사용자의 음낭밑에 끼이게되는 날개형 부분(13 및14)을 사용한 본 요실금 보호대에서는 소정의 위치에 견고하게 유지시키는 점에 있어서 더욱 개선이 있었다. 또한 부분적으로나 아니면 요실금 보호대 전체를 통해서 탄력성실(도시되어 있지 않음)을 사용함으로써 음경 및 음낭주위에 더욱 밀착고정시킬 수도 있다.
첨부한 청구범위 내에서도 여러가지 변경이 가능하므로 본 발명은 전술한 실시예에만 국한되지 않는다. 한예로써 본 요실금 보호대 배면부(5)내의 요부의 형상은 반드시 U자형일 필요는 없으며 하나의 좁은 틈으로써 사용자가 본 요실금 보호대를 착용했을때 이에 맞추어 넓어지게되는 것도 가능하다. 제1도의 실시예에 있어서 중심부는 원칙적을 전면부(4)와 배면부(5) 사이에 위치한 연결선(6) 및 이 연결선에 이웃해 있는 상기 전면부 및 배면부의 부분들로 되어 있다. 또 이와는 달리 하나의 분리된 중심부가 본 요실금 보호대의 전면부와 배면부 사이에 놓일 수도 있다. 이들 각 경우에 있어서 본 요실금 보호대는 하나로 연결되어 있는 형태로든 또는 전면부, 배면부 및 중심부가 분리되어 있어서 이것을 하나로 결합시킨 형태로든 선택적으로 생산할 수 있다.
제1도를 참고로 하여 설명된 요실금 보호대의 대안으로써 납작한 판형태로된 요실금 보호대는 사용장 자신이 각 측단부를 연력하여 용기형태를 만들수 있도록 반창고와 같은 것을 입힐 수도 있다.
이같은 측단부의 결합은 반창고를 사용하는 것과 제2도, 제3도의 실시예에 의한 밀폐용접의 양경우에서와 같이 손으로 쉽게 개방할 수 있도록 만들어진 것으로써 요실금 보호대를 사용하고 난 후에 사용자가 쉽게 열고 벗을 수 있게 되어 있다.

Claims (11)

  1. 사용자의 음경을 완전히 또는 부분적으로 감싸도록 된 용기형태의 남자용 요실금 보호대에 있어서, 요실금 보호대가 액체 불침투성 재료의 외면(1)과 액체 침투성 재료의 내면(2) 및 흡수성 재료의 중간층(3)으로 구성되어 있으며, 또한 본 요실금 보호대는 전면부(4)와 배면부(5) 및 이들을 연결하고 또 이들보다 좁으며 용기바닥을 형성하는 중심부(6)(또는 연결선)로 구성되어 있으며, 본 요실금 보호대가 사용자의 음경 및 음낭을 모두 감싸도록 되어 있으며, 배면부(5)의 단부에는 배면부의 자유단으로 부터 연장되어 있는 요부(7)가 설비되어 있으며, 상기 요부에 의해 형성되고 상기 요부의 각 측부에 위치하고 있어서 그것에 의해 사용자의 음낭밑에 안전하게 끼이도록 된 날개형 부분(13, 14)을 특징으로 하는 남자용 요실금 보호대.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 요실금 보호대의 흡수층이 부드럽고 압축 가능하며 흡수매체로서의 기능외에 상기 날개형 부분이 사용자의 음낭밑에서 압축을 받아 틀을 이룰수 있도록 하기 위해 날개형 부분에 소정의 필요한 안정성을 부여하는 것을 특징으로 하는 남자용 요실금 보호대.
  3. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 요실금 보호대의 전면부(4) 및 배면부(5)가 중심부(6)를 구비한 단일 구조형태로 되어 있으며 이 단일구조는 상기 용기형 요실금 보호대를 형성하기 위해 2중으로 접혀지거나 상기 중심부에서 접혀지도록 된 것을 특징으로 하는 남자용 요실금 보호대.
  4. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 요실금 보호대의 내면 및 외면이 흡수층을 초과하여 측방으로 연장되어 있는 부분(8, 9)을 구비하며 여기에서 함께 결합되는 것을 특징으로 하는 남자용 요실금 보호대.
  5. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 요실금 보호대의 전면부(4)상의 상기부분(8, 9)의 외단(15, 16)이 배면상에 있는 대응부분(15, 16)에 밀폐 연결되어 밀폐 방수용기를 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 남자용 요실금 보호대.
  6. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 요실금 보호대가 사용자의 샅에 끼어 마찰을 일으키는 현상을 피하기 위해 중심부(6)(용기의 바닥부)의 흡수층의 축방연장부는 전면부(4) 및 배면부(5) 길이의 반 이하로서 이들 길이의 1/4이상이 적당한 것을 특징으로 하는 남자용 요실금 보호대.
  7. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 요실금 보호대의 중심부(6)에서 내면(1) 및 외면(2)은 사용자의 음낭을 수용하기 위한 길이가 흡수층 연장부의 1.5-2배되는 측방연장부를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 남자용 요실금 보호대.
  8. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 요실금 보호대에는 요실금 보호대의 내외면에 의해 형성되어 흡수층을 초과하여 연장되어 있는 날카로운 단을 죄기 위해 중심부(6)를 가로질러 인장된 탄력성실이 설비되는 것을 특징으로 하는 남자용 요실금 보호대.
  9. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 요심금 보호대의 끝단으로부터 측정한 요부(7)의 깊이가 배면부(5) 길이의 1/4-3/4정도인 것을 특징으로 하는 남자용 요실금 보호대.
  10. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 요실금 보호대의 배면부(5)내에 있는 요부(7)가 실제로 U자형인 것을 특징으로 하는 남자용 요실금 보호대.
  11. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 요실금 보호대에는 사용자의 음경 및 음낭주위에 요실금 보호대를 견고하게 밀착시키기 위해 1개 이상의 인장된 탄력성실이 설비되는 것을 특징으로 하는 남자용 요실금 보호대.
