Abstract
Description
도 2는 실험예 1에 따라 TiO2를 NH3 가스 분위기에서 600℃, 650℃, 700℃, 750℃, 800℃, 850℃, 900℃, 950℃에서 5시간 동안 열처리한 경우로서, 열처리 온도별 TiOxNy로의 상변태 수율(yield) 분석 결과를 보여주는 도면이다.
도 3a는 실험예 2에 따라 제조된 Si-TiO2 복합체 입자의 전계방출주사현미경(FE-SEM; field emission-scanning electron microscope) 이미지이고, 도 3b는 실험예 2에 따라 제조된 Si-TiO2 복합체 입자의 투과전자현미경(TEM; transmission electron microscopy) 이미지이며, 도 3c는 도 3b에서 노란색으로 박스친 'A' 부분을 확대하여 나타낸 이미지이다.
도 4a는 실험예 3에 따라 제조된 이차전지용 음극활물질의 전계방출주사현미경(FE-SEM) 이미지이고, 도 4b는 실험예 3에 따라 제조된 이차전지용 음극활물질의 투과전자현미경(TEM) 이미지이며, 도 4c는 도 4b에서 노란색으로 박스친 'A' 부분을 확대하여 나타낸 이미지이다.
도 5는 실험예 3에 따라 제조된 이차전지용 음극활물질의 TEM-EELS(Electron energy loss spectroscopy) 이미지이다.
도 6a 및 도 6b는 실험예 3에 따라 제조된 이차전지용 음극활물질의 X선 광전자 분광(X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy) 결과를 보인 도면이다.
도 7은 리튬이차전지의 성능을 나타내는 그래프로서, 0.01∼1.5V 범위의 전압에서 0.1A/g의 전류밀도로 첫 번째 전위분포를 나타낸 그래프이다.
도 8은 1A/g의 전류밀도에서 100 사이클에 따른 충전 용량과 쿨롱 효율을 나타낸 그래프이다.
도 9는 충전과 방전 속도를 알아보기 위해서 전류밀도가 0.1A/g, 0.5A/g, 1A/g, 2A/g, 5A/g으로 변화함에 따라 충/방전 용량의 변화를 나타낸 그래프이다.
도 10은 1A/g의 전류밀도에서 50사이클 전/후 음극의 FE-SEM 이미지이다.
Claims (13)
- TiO2-x-TiO1-xNx(0<x<1) 복합 코팅층이 실리콘 나노입자를 둘러싸는 코어-쉘(core-shell) 구조의 복합체이고,
상기 TiO2-x-TiO1-xNx 복합 코팅층은 산소결핍(oxygen deficiency) 구조의 TiO2-x(0<x<1)와 암염(rock-salt) 구조의 TiO1-xNx(0<x<1)를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 이차전지용 음극활물질.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 TiO2-x-TiO1-xNx 복합 코팅층과 상기 실리콘 나노입자는 0.05:1 내지 10:1의 중량비를 이루고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 이차전지용 음극활물질.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 실리콘 나노입자는 10∼200nm의 크기를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 이차전지용 음극활물질.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 이차전지용 음극활물질은 15∼500㎚의 크기를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 이차전지용 음극활물질.
- (a) TiO2 전구체를 이용하여 실리콘 나노입자 표면에 TiO2가 코팅되게 하는 단계; 및
(b) 상기 실리콘 나노입자 표면에 TiO2가 코팅된 Si-TiO2 복합체 입자를 질소 성분을 포함하는 환원 가스 분위기에서 열처리하여 TiO2-x-TiO1-xNx(0<x<1) 복합 코팅층이 실리콘 나노입자를 둘러싸는 코어-쉘(core-shell) 구조의 복합체를 형성하는 단계를 포함하며,
상기 TiO2-x-TiO1-xNx 복합 코팅층은 산소결핍(oxygen deficiency) 구조의 TiO2-x(0<x<1)와 암염(rock-salt) 구조의 TiO1-xNx(0<x<1)를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 이차전지용 음극활물질의 제조방법.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 실리콘 나노입자는 10∼200nm의 크기를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 이차전지용 음극활물질의 제조방법.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 (a) 단계는,
실리콘 나노입자를 용매에 분산시켜 실리콘 나노입자 분산액을 형성하는 단계;
상기 실리콘 나노입자 분산액에 상기 TiO2 전구체를혼합하는 단계;
상기 실리콘 나노입자 표면에 TiO2가 코팅되는 단계; 및
상기 실리콘 나노입자 표면에 TiO2가 코팅된 Si-TiO2 복합체 입자를 선택적으로 분리해내는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 이차전지용 음극활물질의 제조방법.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 TiO2 전구체는 티타늄테트라메톡사이드, 티타늄테트라에톡사이드, 티타늄테트라프로포사이드, 티타늄테트라이소프로포사이드, 티타늄테트라부톡사이드, 티타늄테트라이소부톡사이드, 티타늄테트라펜톡사이드 및 티타늄테트라이소펜톡사이드로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택된 1종 이상의 물질을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 이차전지용 음극활물질의 제조방법.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 용매에 염기성 물질을 혼합하여 상기 실리콘 나노입자 분산액의 pH가 8∼12를 이루도록 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 이차전지용 음극활물질의 제조방법.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 열처리는 600∼750℃의 온도에서 수행하는 것을 특징으로 하는 이차전지용 음극활물질의 제조방법.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 TiO2-x-TiO1-xNx 복합 코팅층과 상기 실리콘 나노입자는 0.05:1 내지 10:1의 중량비를 이루고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 이차전지용 음극활물질의 제조방법.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 이차전지용 음극활물질은 15∼500㎚의 크기를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 이차전지용 음극활물질의 제조방법.
- 제1항에 기재된 이차전지용 음극활물질, 상기 이차전지용 음극활물질 100중량부에 대하여 도전재 5∼40중량부, 상기 이차전지용 음극활물질 100중량부에 대하여 바인더 5∼40중량부 및 상기 이차전지용 음극활물질 100중량부에 대하여 분산매 200∼1000중량부를 혼합하여 이차전지 음극용 조성물을 제조하는 단계;
상기 이차전지 음극용 조성물을 압착하여 전극 형태로 형성하거나, 상기 이차전지 음극용 조성물을 금속 호일 또는 집전체에 코팅하여 전극 형태로 형성하거나, 상기 이차전지 음극용 조성물을 롤러로 밀어 시트 상태로 만들고 금속 호일 또는 집전체에 붙여서 전극 형태로 형성하거나, 금속 집전체에 닥터블레이드 방법으로 캐스팅하여 전극 형태로 형성하는 단계;
전극 형태로 형성된 결과물을 건조하여 이차전지의 음극을 형성하는 단계;
상기 음극과, 리튬 이온을 삽입 또는 탈리할 수 있는 양극활물질을 포함하는 양극과, 상기 양극과 음극 사이에 상기 양극과 상기 음극의 단락을 방지하기 위한 분리막을 배치하는 단계; 및
상기 양극과 상기 음극 사이에 리튬염이 용해되어 있는 전해액을 주입하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 이차전지의 제조방법.
