(A) 광중합 개시제와, 용제와, 250 nm 내지 370 nm 범위에 극대 흡수 파장을 갖는 중합성 액정 화합물을 포함하는 광학 이방성 막 형성용 조성물을 기재에 도포하는 공정
(B) 도포된 광학 이방성 막 형성용 조성물에, 파장이 200 nm 내지 500 nm인 광으로서, 파장 범위가 250 nm 미만인 광을 조사하는 공정 - 제1항에 있어서, 광중합 개시제의 극대 흡수 파장이 300 nm 내지 380 nm인 광학 이방성 막의 제조 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 조사되는 광이, 파장이 365 nm인 광을 포함하는 광학 이방성 막의 제조 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 조사되는 광이, 파장이 365 nm의 휘선인 광학 이방성 막의 제조 방법.
- 중합성 액정 화합물이 식 (A)로 표시되는 화합물인, 제1항에 기재된 방법에 의해 얻어지는 광학 이방성 막.
[식 (A) 중,
X1은, 산소 원자, 황 원자 또는 NR1-을 나타낸다. R1은, 수소 원자 또는 탄소수 1∼4의 알킬기를 나타낸다.
Y1은, 치환기를 갖고 있어도 좋은 탄소수 6∼12의 1가의 방향족 탄화수소기 또는 치환기를 갖고 있어도 좋은 탄소수 3∼12의 1가의 방향족 복소환식기를 나타낸다.
Q3 및 Q4는, 각각 독립적으로, 수소 원자, 치환기를 갖고 있어도 좋은 탄소수 1∼20의 1가의 지방족 탄화수소기, 탄소수 3∼20의 1가의 지환식 탄화수소기, 치환기를 갖고 있어도 좋은 탄소수 6∼20의 1가의 방향족 탄화수소기, 할로겐 원자, 시아노기, 니트로기, -NR2R3 또는 -SR2를 나타내거나, 또는, Q3과 Q4가 서로 결합하여, 이들이 결합하는 탄소 원자와 함께 방향환 또는 방향족 복소환을 형성한다. R2 및 R3은, 각각 독립적으로, 수소 원자 또는 탄소수 1∼6의 알킬기를 나타낸다.
D1 및 D2는, 각각 독립적으로, 단결합, -C(=O)-O-, -C(=S)-O-, -CR4R5-, -CR4R5-CR6R7-, -O-CR4R5-, -CR4R5-O-CR6R7-, -CO-O-CR4R5-, -O-CO-CR4R5-, -CR4R5-O-CO-CR6R7-, -CR4R5-CO-O-CR6R7- 또는 -NR4-CR5R6- 또는 -CO-NR4-를 나타낸다.
R4, R5, R6 및 R7은, 각각 독립적으로, 수소 원자, 불소 원자 또는 탄소수 1∼4의 알킬기를 나타낸다.
G1 및 G2는, 각각 독립적으로, 탄소수 5∼8의 2가의 지환식 탄화수소기를 나타내고, 이 지환식 탄화수소기를 구성하는 메틸렌기는, 산소 원자, 황 원자 또는 -NH-로 치환되어 있어도 좋으며, 이 지환식 탄화수소기를 구성하는 메틴기는, 제3 급 질소 원자로 치환되어 있어도 좋다.
L1 및 L2는, 각각 독립적으로, 1가의 유기기를 나타내고, L1 및 L2 중 적어도 하나는, 중합성기를 갖는다.] - 제1항에 기재된 제조 방법에 의해 얻어지는 광학 이방성 막.
- 제6항에 있어서, 하기 식 (1) 및 (2)를 만족시키는 광학 이방성 막.

(Δn(450), Δn(550), Δn(650)은 각각 파장 450 nm, 550 nm, 650 nm의 광에 대한 복굴절을 나타낸다.) - 제6항 또는 제7항에 있어서, 위상차성을 갖는 광학 이방성 막.
- 제6항에 기재된 광학 이방성 막을 포함하는 위상차 필름.
- 제6항에 기재된 광학 이방성 막을 포함하는 편광판.
- 제6항에 기재된 광학 이방성 막을 구비한 표시 장치.
