Description
도 1은 본 발명의 인가된 일회용품 어셈블리에 관한 도면이다.
도 1a는 본 발명의 독점적인 연결기의 하나의 실시예에 관한 도면이다.
도 1b는 본 발명의 독점적인 연결기의 제 2 실시예에 관한 도면이다.
도 2는 사용하기 위하여 적소에 있는 일회용품 어셈블리를 가진 컴퓨터 제어식 약물 전달 유닛 하우징의 상면도이다.
도 3은 일회용품 어셈블리가 없는 유닛에 관한 도 2와 유사한 도면이다.

Claims (20)
- 주변의 조직보다 낮은 압력에서 유체를 받아들일 수 있는 체액이 채워진 해부 공간 내로 유체를 투여하기 위한 장치에 있어서,
일회용품 어셈블리로서, 해부 공간 내로 주사될 유체를 담기 위한 바디를 가지고 있고 바디의 반대쪽 단부에서 유체를 투여하기 위해 바디의 한쪽 단부 내에서 이동가능한 플런저를 가지고 있는 주사기, 주사기 바디의 반대쪽 단부에 영구적으로 연결된 튜브, 튜브에 연결되어 있고 대상 내부로 삽입가능하고 해부 공간을 찾기 위해 해부 공간 주변의 조직을 통해 이동가능한 끝부를 가지고 있는 바늘, 및 바늘 끝부에서의 순간 압력에 대응하는 신호를 발생시키기 위한 인라인 압력 변환기를 포함하는 일회용품 어셈블리;
주사기에 기계적으로 연결되고 압력 변환기에 전기적으로 연결되는 구동 유닛으로서, 컴퓨터를 가진 컨트롤러, 체액이 채워진 해부 공간 내로 유체를 주사하는 것과 양립할 수 있도록 선택되는 제1 선택 압력(P1)을 저장하는 메모리, 컴퓨터에 연결되어 제어되는 모터, 및 모터에 연결되고, 대상의 내외로 유체를 주사하고 흡인하기 위해 바늘의 끝부에서 각각 유체를 주사하고 흡인하도록 플런저를 바디의 내외로 이동시키도록 주사기에 기계적으로 연결되는 플런저 전기자를 포함하는 구동 유닛; 및
제1 선택 압력(P1)이 압력 변환기에 의해 검출될 때까지 대상 내로의 불연속적인 유체 유동을 위해 플런저를 이동시키도록 모터를 제어하도록 프로그래밍되어 있는 컴퓨터로서, 제1 선택 압력(P1)이 검출되었을 때 바늘의 끝부에서의 순간 압력이 제1 선택 압력(P1) 미만으로 강하될 때까지 모터가 정지되어 대상으로의 추가적인 유체의 유동을 정지시키고, 바늘의 끝부에서의 순간 압력이 제1 선택 압력(P1) 미만으로 강하되었을 때 프로그램이 모터의 작동을 재개시켜 대상으로의 유체 유동을 재개시켜, 그 결과 바늘이 대상의 체액이 채워진 해부 공간 주변의 조직으로 이동함에 따라, 조직으로의 유체 유동이 제1 선택 압력(P1)을 초과하는 순간 압력에서 정지되고 순간 압력이 제1 선택 압력(P1) 미만으로 강하할 때 재개되어, 바늘의 끝부가 해부 공간 내에 있음을 지시하고, 해부 공간 내로의 유체 주사를 재개하도록 프로그래밍되어 있는 컴퓨터를 포함하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치. - 제 1 항에 있어서, 메모리는 제1 선택 압력(P1)보다 제1 선택량만큼 작은 제2 선택 압력(P2)를 저장하고, 컴퓨터는 순간 압력이 제1 선택 압력(P2)보다 제1 선택량만큼 작을 때 바늘 끝부로의 유체의 유동을 재개시키도록 플런저 이동을 재개시키기 위해 모터의 작동을 재개시키도록 프로그래밍되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 메모리는 제1 선택 압력(P1)보다 제1 선택량만큼 작은 제2 선택 압력(P2)를 저장하고, 컴퓨터는 순간 압력이 제1 선택 압력(P2)보다 제1 선택량만큼 작을 때 바늘 끝부로의 유체의 유동을 재개시키도록 플런저 이동을 재개시키기 위해 모터의 작동을 재개시키도록 프로그래밍되어 있고, 메모리는 또한 제1 선택 압력(P1) 미만이면서 제2 선택 압력(P2)을 초과하는 제3 선택 압력(P3)을 저장하고, 컴퓨터는 순간 압력이 제2 선택 압력(P2)에 도달한 후 제3 선택 압력(P3)까지 상승할 때 바늘 끝부로의 유체의 유동을 다시 정지시키도록 플런저를 정지시키기 위해 모터의 작동을 다시 정지시키도록 프로그래밍되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 컨트롤러는 적어도 제1 선택 압력(P1)을 포함하는 적어도 하나의 파라미터를 수취하기 위한 입력부를 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 제 3 항에 있어서, 상기 컨트롤러는 제1, 제2 및 제3 선택 압력(P1, P2, P3) 중의 적어도 하나를 포함하는 복수의 파라미터를 수취하기 위한 입력부를 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 제1 선택 압력(P1)은 약 25 mm/Hg와 약 300 mm/Hg 사이인 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 제2 선택 압력(P2)은 약 25 mm/Hg와 약 100 mm/Hg 사이인 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 제 3 항에 있어서, 상기 제3 선택 압력(P3)은 해부 공간에 따라 약 80 mm/Hg 내지 약 180 mm/Hg이고, 제1 선택 압력(P1)은 해부 공간에 따라 약 80 mm/Hg 내지 약 300 mm/Hg이고, 제2 선택 압력(P2)은 해부 공간에 따라 약 20 mm/Hg 내지 약 100 mm/Hg인 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 제 4 항에 있어서, 상기 적어도 하나의 파라미터는 주사 튜브 길이; 주사 튜브 보어; 주사 유체 점성도; 주사 유체 조성; 및 주사 유체 온도로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 압력 변환기는 주사기의 상기 반대쪽 단부와 튜브 사이의 연결부에 영구적으로 직렬 연결되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 구동 유닛은 주사기 캐비티를 구비한 하우징을 가지고 있고, 주사기 캐비티는 하우징의 축선방향으로 고정된 위치에 주사기의 바디를 제거가능하게 유지시키고, 상기 구동 유닛은 그 내부에서 플런저가 자유롭게 이동할 수 있는 플런저 리세스를 가지고 있고, 주사기 전기자는 플런저 리세스를 따라 이동가능한 스테이지를 가지고 있고, 플런저는 엄지 패드를 가지고 있고, 스테이지는 스테이지의 양방향 이동이 플런저를 양방향으로 이동시키도록 스테이지를 엄지 패드에 축선방향으로 연결시키기 위해 스테이지가 엄지 패드와 결합하기 위해 이동될 때 엄지 패드에 걸음하기 위한 적어도 하나의 피벗 장착되고 스프링 장전된 후크를 가지고 있고, 주사기 전기자는 스테이지가 엄지 패드와 결합하도록 이동 완료한 것을 감지하기 위한 센서를 구비하고 있고, 컴퓨터는 스테이지가 엄지 패드와의 결합을 완료했을 때 센서의 작용 하에 스테이지의 이동을 정지시키도록 프로그래밍되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 인가된 일회용 어셈블리가 압력 변환기에 연결되어 있을 경우에만 컨트롤러의 작동을 허용하기 위해 압력 변환기와 컨트롤러 사이에 전기적으로 또한 기계적으로 연결되는 독점적 연결기를 포함하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 바늘 끝부는 경막외 조직 공간; 관절내 공간; 안구의 안내 유체; 인체의 혈관; 및 주로 체액으로 이루어진 조직 공간 중의 하나 내로 삽입하기에 적합화되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 제 13 항에 있어서, 상기 바늘은 카테터 바늘인 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 주사 유체는 약물을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 장치는 상기 컨트롤러의 제어 하의 시각 신호를 포함하고 있고, 상기 시각 신호는 상기 유동률이 시작되거나 정지되는 각각의 시간을 지시하는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 컨트롤러는 상기 컨트롤러의 제어 하의 음향 신호 발생기를 포함하고 있고, 상기 음향 신호 발생기는 유체 유동이 시작되거나 정지되는 각각의 시간을 지시하는 음향을 발생시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 일회용품 어셈블리는 바늘에의 연결을 위해 튜브에 영구적으로 연결되는 강성의 기다란 핸들을 포함하고 있고, 핸들은 약 10 내지 20 cm의 길이를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 체액이 채워진 조직 공간 내로 주사액을 투여하기 위한 방법에 있어서,
시험 유체, 주사 유체, 펌핑 기구 및 환자 내로의 삽입을 위해 적합화된 끝부를 제공하는 과정; 환자 내로 상기 시험 유체를 펌핑하는 과정; 상기 끝부와 환자의 체액이 채워진 조직 사이의 경계에서의 상기 시험 유체의 유체 압력을 산출하는 과정; 측정된 압력이 미리 정해진 유체 압력 미만으로 강하하자마자 유체 유동이 개시되도록 상기 주사 유체의 유동률을 제어하는 과정; 상기 끝부의 상기 체액이 채워진 조직 공간 내로의 진입과 관련된 압력의 손실을 식별하는 과정; 및 상기 주사 유체를 상기 체액이 채워진 조직 공간 내로 펌핑하는 과정을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법. - 제 19 항에 있어서, 상기 시험 유체는 생리 식염수, 인산완충 식염수, 인공 뇌척수액, 링거액, 5% 포도당, 및 여과된 공기로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
