절연층, 게이트 전극, 반도체 층, 소스 전극 및 드레인 전극은 임의의 순서로 배열될 수 있되, 단, 게이트 전극과 반도체 층 둘 모두가 절연층과 접촉하고, 소스 전극과 드레인 전극 둘 모두가 반도체 층과 접촉하고, 전극들은 서로 접촉하지 않는 유기 박막 트랜지스터인 전자 소자. - 제6항에 있어서, 2개의 전기 접촉 층 사이에 위치한 적어도 하나의 전기활성 층을 포함하며, 적어도 하나의 전기활성 층은 화학식 I의 적어도 하나의 단위를 갖는 화합물을 포함하는 전자 소자.
- 제8항에 있어서, 애노드, 정공 주입 층, 광활성 층, 전자 수송 층, 및 캐소드를 포함하며, 광활성 층 및 전자 수송 층 중 적어도 하나는 화학식 I의 적어도 하나의 단위를 갖는 화합물을 포함하는 전자 소자.
- 제9항에 있어서, 광활성 층은 (a) 화학식 I의 적어도 하나의 단위를 갖는 호스트 재료, 및 (b) 유기금속 전계발광 도펀트를 포함하는 전자 소자.
- 제9항 또는 제10항에 있어서, 정공 주입 층은 적어도 하나의 전기 전도성 중합체 및 적어도 하나의 플루오르화 산 중합체를 포함하는 전자 소자.
- 제9항, 제10항 또는 제11항에 있어서, 전자 수송 층은 화학식 I의 적어도 하나의 단위를 갖는 화합물을 포함하는 전자 소자.
