Abstract
Description
Claims (20)
- 64 ~ 75 중량% 의 SiO2,
16 ~ 24 중량% 의 Al2O3,
8 ~ 12 중량% 의 MgO, 및
0.25 ~ 3 중량% 의 R2O 으로서 Li2O 와 Na2O 의 합과 동일한 R2O 를 포함하고,
약 2550 ℉ (1399 ℃) 미만의 액상선을 가지는, 다이렉트 용융 공정으로부터 형성가능한 고강도 유리 섬유용 조성물. - 제 1 항에 있어서, 유리 배치 (batch) 는 CaO, P2O5, ZnO, ZrO2, SrO, BaO, SO3, F2, B2O3, TiO2 및 Fe2O3 로 구성된 군에서 선택된 총 화합물의 중량% 가 5 중량% 미만인 고강도 유리 섬유용 조성물.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 배치로부터 생성된 유리가 약 2650 ℉ (1454 ℃) 미만의 섬유화 온도, 및 적어도 80 ℉ (44.44 ℃) 의 ΔT 를 갖는 고강도 유리 섬유용 조성물.
- 제 3 항에 있어서, 상기 배치로부터 생성된 유리는 적어도 120 ℉ (66.67 ℃) 의 ΔT 를 갖는 고강도 유리 섬유용 조성물.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 배치로부터 생성된 유리는 2600 ℉ (1427 ℃) 미만의 섬유화 온도, 및 적어도 140 ℉ (77.78 ℃) 의 ΔT 를 갖는 고강도 유리 섬유용 조성물.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 유리 배치는 0 ~ 3 중량% 의 알칼리 금속 산화물을 더 포함하는 고강도 유리 섬유용 조성물.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 조성물은,
68 ~ 69 중량% 의 SiO2,
20 ~ 22 중량% 의 Al2O3,
9 ~ 10 중량% 의 MgO, 및
1 ~ 3 중량% 의 Li2O 를 포함하는 고강도 유리 섬유용 조성물. - 65 ~ 69 중량% 의 SiO2,
20 ~ 22 중량% 의 Al2O3,
9 ~ 11 중량% 의 MgO, 및
0.25 ~ 3 중량% 의 Li2O 를 포함하고,
약 2650 ℉ (1454 ℃) 미만의 액상선을 가지는, 다이렉트 용융 공정으로부터 형성가능한 고강도 유리 섬유용 조성물. - 제 8 항에 있어서, 상기 조성물은,
약 68 중량% 의 SiO2,
약 20 중량% 의 Al2O3,
약 10 중량% 의 MgO, 및
약 2 중량% 의 Li2O 를 포함하는 고강도 유리 섬유용 조성물. - 제 8 항에 있어서, 상기 조성물은 본질적으로,
약 68 중량% 의 SiO2,
약 20 중량% 의 Al2O3,
약 9.7 중량% 의 MgO, 및
약 2 중량% 의 Li2O 로 구성되는 고강도 유리 섬유용 조성물. - 제 10 항에 있어서, 모듈러스는 적어도 12.7 MPsi 인 고강도 유리 섬유용 조성물.
- 제 10 항에 있어서, ΔT 는 적어도 140 ℉ (77.78℃) 인 고강도 유리 섬유용 조성물.
- 제 8 항에 있어서, 배치로부터 생성된 유리는 2600 ℉ (1427 ℃) 미만의 섬유화 온도, 및 적어도 144 ℉ (80 ℃) 의 ΔT 를 갖는 고강도 유리 섬유용 조성물.
- 64 ~ 75 중량% 의 SiO2,
16 ~ 24 중량% 의 Al2O3,
8 ~ 12 중량% 의 MgO, 및
0.25 ~ 3 중량% 의 R2O 으로서 Li2O 와 Na2O 의 합과 동일한 R2O 를 포함하고, 내화물이 라이닝된 유리 용융기에서 유리 배치를 용융함으로써 형성된 고강도 유리 섬유. - 제 14 항에 있어서, 상기 섬유는 12.0 MPSI 보다 큰 모듈러스를 갖는 고강도 유리 섬유.
- 제 14 항에 있어서, 상기 섬유는 12.7 MPSI 보다 큰 모듈러스를 갖는 고강도 유리 섬유.
- 제 14 항에 있어서, 상기 섬유는 688 KPSI 보다 큰 강도를 갖는 고강도 유리 섬유.
- 제 14 항에 있어서, 상기 섬유는 700 KPSI 보다 큰 강도를 갖는 고강도 유리 섬유.
- 제 14 항에 있어서, R2O 중 적어도 75 % 는 Li2O 인 고강도 유리 섬유.
- 제 14 항에 있어서,
68 ~ 69 중량% 의 SiO2,
20 ~ 22 중량% 의 Al2O3,
9 ~ 10 중량% 의 MgO, 및
