Claims (34)
- 탄수화물-함유 재료를 무기 재료와 배합함으로써 형성된 배합물을 조사하는(irradiating) 단계를 포함하는, 탄수화물-함유 재료의 처리방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 조사는 가속된 입자를 이용해서 수행되는 것인 탄수화물-함유 재료의 처리방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 입자는 광 속도의 75%보다 높은 속도로 가속된 전자를 포함하는 것인 탄수화물-함유 재료의 처리방법.
- 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 탄수화물-함유 재료는 셀룰로스 재료 혹은 리그노셀룰로스 재료를 포함하는 것인 탄수화물-함유 재료의 처리방법.
- 제1항 내지 제4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 탄수화물-함유 재료를 무기 재료와 배합하는 것은 건조 혼합(dry blending) 혹은 공동 미분쇄(co-comminuting)하는 단계를 포함하는 것인 탄수화물-함유 재료의 처리방법.
- 제5항에 있어서, 탄수화물-함유 재료를 무기 재료와 배합하는 것은 각 재료를 25℃ 이하의 온도로 냉각시키면서 해당 재료들을 공동 미분쇄하는 단계를 포함하는 것인 탄수화물-함유 재료의 처리방법.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 재료들은 0℃ 이하의 온도로 냉각되는 것인 탄수화물-함유 재료의 처리방법.
- 제1항 내지 제7항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 무기 재료는 금속 또는 금속 합금을 포함하는 것인 탄수화물-함유 재료의 처리방법.
- 제8항에 있어서, 상기 금속 혹은 금속 합금은 철계 금속, 비금속(base metal), 귀금속(noble metal), 희귀금속(precious metals) 및 전이 금속으로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택된 것인 탄수화물-함유 재료의 처리방법.
- 제8항에 있어서, 상기 무기 재료는 알루미늄 금속을 포함하는 것인 탄수화물-함유 재료의 처리방법.
- 제1항 내지 제10항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 무기 재료는 금속성 화합물을 포함하는 것인 탄수화물-함유 재료의 처리방법.
- 제11항에 있어서, 상기 금속성 화합물은 2+ 또는 3+ 산화 상태의 철 혹은 코발트를 포함하는 것인 탄수화물-함유 재료의 처리방법.
- 제1항 내지 제12항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 무기 재료는 내화 재료를 포함하는 것인 탄수화물-함유 재료의 처리방법.
- 제13항에 있어서, 상기 내화 재료는 지르콘, 내화점토, 실리카, 알루미나, 크로마이트(chromite), 탄화규소, 탄소, 물리타이트(mulitite), 돌로마이트 및 마그네사이트로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택된 것인 탄수화물-함유 재료의 처리방법.
- 제1항 내지 제14항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 무기 재료는 세라믹을 포함하는 것인 탄수화물-함유 재료의 처리방법.
- 제15항에 있어서, 상기 세라믹은 산화물, 탄화물, 붕화물, 질화물, 규화물 및 카올린으로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택된 것인 탄수화물-함유 재료의 처리방법.
- 제1항 내지 제16항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 무기 재료는 상승된 온도에서 해당 무기 재료로부터 이탈될 수 있는 물을 포함하는 것인 탄수화물-함유 재료의 처리방법.
- 제1항 내지 제17항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 무기 재료는 융점을 지니지 않는 것인 탄수화물-함유 재료의 처리방법.
- 제1항 내지 제18항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 무기 재료는 약 400℃ 이상의 융점을 지니는 것인 탄수화물-함유 재료의 처리방법.
- 제1항 내지 제19항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 무기 재료는 약 1.5 이하의 비열 용량(specific heat capacity)(Cp)을 지니는 것인 탄수화물-함유 재료의 처리방법.
- 제1항 내지 제20항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 무기 재료는 약 0.004 내지 약 450 W/mK의 전도율(conductivity)을 지니는 것인 탄수화물-함유 재료의 처리방법.
- 제1항 내지 제21항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 무기 재료는 약 1.5 g/㎤ 이상의 밀도를 지니는 것인 탄수화물-함유 재료의 처리방법.
- 제1항 내지 제22항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 무기 재료는 약 0.1 미크론 내지 약 100 미크론의 평균 입자 크기를 지니는 입자를 포함하는 것인 탄수화물-함유 재료의 처리방법.
- 제1항 내지 제23항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 배합물은 약 0.05 내지 약 35 중량%의 무기 재료를 포함하는 것인 탄수화물-함유 재료의 처리방법.
- 제1항 내지 제24항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 조사 후에,
상기 무기 재료를 제거하는 단계; 및
조사된 탄수화물-함유 재료를, 효소 및/또는 미생물을 이용해서 생성물로 전환시키는 단계를 추가로 포함하는, 탄수화물-함유 재료의 처리방법. - 제25항에 있어서, 상기 생성물은 에탄올을 포함하는 것인 탄수화물-함유 재료의 처리방법.
- 제25항 또는 제26항에 있어서, 상기 제거하는 단계는 전환시키는 단계 후에 일어나는 것인 탄수화물-함유 재료의 처리방법.
- 제25항 내지 제27항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 미생물은 효모를 포함하는 것인 탄수화물-함유 재료의 처리방법.
- 탄화수소-함유 재료를 무기 재료와 배합함으로서 형성된 배합물을 조사하는 단계를 포함하는 탄화수소-함유 재료의 처리방법.
- 제29항에 있어서, 상기 탄화수소-함유 재료는 타르 샌드(tar sand), 오일 샌드(oil sand), 오일 셰일(oil shale), 원유, 역청, 석탄, 석유 가스, 액화 천연 및/또는 합성 가스, 및 아스팔트로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택된 것인 탄화수소-함유 재료의 처리방법.
- 제29항 또는 제30항에 있어서, 상기 탄화수소-함유 재료는 고체, 입상체, 분말, 액체, 기체 혹은 이들의 조합물을 포함하는 것인 탄화수소-함유 재료의 처리방법.
- 제31항에 있어서, 상기 고체는 석탄을 포함하는 것인 탄화수소-함유 재료의 처리방법.
- 제31항에 있어서, 상기 액체는 석탄을 포함하는 것인 탄화수소-함유 재료의 처리방법.
- 제29항 내지 제33항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 무기 재료는 금속, 금속 합금, 금속성 화합물, 내화 재료 또는 세라믹을 포함하는 것인 탄화수소-함유 재료의 처리방법.
