Claims (33)
- 하기 화학식 (I) 피롤리딘 화합물의 시트레이트 또는 타르트레이트 염, 그의 씨클릭 이성질체, 또는 그의 임의의 수화물 또는 용매화물:<화학식 I>(여기서, R2 및 R3는 독립적으로 -OH, -O-M+ (여기서, M+는 양이온임), 보론산 보호 기를 가지는 히드록실, 또는 생리학적 pH의 수용액 중에서 또는 생체액 중에서 히드록실 기로 가수분해될 수 있는 기이거나; 또는 R2 및 R3가 그들이 결합되어 있는 보론 원자와 함께 보론산 기로 가수분해될 수 있는 씨클릭 기를 형성하고;비대칭 탄소 Ca 및 Cb에서의 파선은 독립적으로 각 비대칭 탄소에 대하여 R 배열, S 배열, 또는 양 배열의 혼합을 나타냄으로써, 모든 입체이성질체 및 모든 입체이성질체 혼합물이 포함되며;타르트레이트 요소는 임의의 입체이성질 배열 또는 그의 혼합을 가짐).

- 제 1항 또는 2항에 있어서, Ca 및 Cb에 (R) 절대 배열을 가지는 염.

- 제 1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항의 타르트레이트 염.
- 제 5항에 있어서, 타르트레이트가 광학적으로 강화된 입체이성질체인 타르트레이트 염.
- 제 6항에 있어서, 타르트레이트가 L-타르트레이트인 타르트레이트 염.
- 제 5항에 있어서, 타르트레이트가 L-타르트레이트 및 D-타르트레이트의 입체이성질적으로 강화된 혼합물, L-타르트레이트 및 D-타르트레이트의 라세미 혼합물, L-타르트레이트, D-타르트레이트 및 메조-타르트레이트의 혼합물, 또는 타르트레이트의 입체이성질체 2종 이상의 광학적으로 활성인 혼합물을 포함하는 타르트레이트 염.
- 제 9항에 있어서, 화학식 (IA)의 화합물이 약 90% 이상의 입체이성질 순도를 가지는 염.
- 제 9항에 있어서, 화학식 (IA)의 화합물이 약 98% 이상의 입체이성질 순도를 가지는 염.
- 제 9항 내지 11항 중 어느 한 항의 타르트레이트 염.
- 제 9항 내지 11항 중 어느 한 항의 L-타르트레이트 염.
- 제 14항에 있어서, 입체이성질 순도가 약 90% 이상인 화학식 (IB)의 화합물.
- 제 14항에 있어서, 입체이성질 순도가 약 98% 이상인 화학식 (IB)의 화합물.
- 제 1항 내지 17항 중 어느 한 항의 염의 실질적으로 비-조해성인 고체 형태.
- 제 18항에 있어서, 주변 조건하에서 약 12개월 이상 동안 안정한 고체 형태.
- 수화물 또는 용매화물인 제 1항 내지 19항 중 어느 한 항에 따른 염.
- 제 1항 또는 18항의, 화학식 (I) 화합물의 시트레이트 또는 타르트레이트 염, 그의 씨클릭 이성질체 또는 그의 임의의 수화물 또는 용매화물, 및 인슐린 분비를 증가시키거나, 인슐린 감수성을 증가시키거나, 위장관로로부터의 당의 흡수를 감소시키거나, 혈당 조절에 영향을 주는 내인성 펩티드 또는 단백질의 효과를 향상 시키거나, 혈당 조절에 영향을 주는 내인성 펩티드 또는 단백질의 대체물을 제공하거나, 또는 이들의 임의 조합인 공지의 제2 약제를 포함하는 약제학적 조합물.
- 제 21항에 있어서, 염이 L-타르트레이트 염, D-타르트레이트 염, 또는 메조-타르트레이트 염, 또는 이들의 임의 조합인 약제학적 조합물.
- 제 21항에 있어서, 제2 약제가 항당뇨병제인 약제학적 조합물.
- 제 23항에 있어서, 화학식 (I) 화합물의 시트레이트 또는 타르트레이트 염과 항당뇨병제의 중량비가 약 0.01:1 내지 약 200:1인 약제학적 조합물.
- (a) 제 1항 또는 18항의, 화학식 (I) 화합물의 시트레이트 또는 타르트레이트 염, 또는 그의 씨클릭 이성질체 또는 그의 임의의 수화물 또는 용매화물; 및(b) 약제학적으로 허용가능한 담체를 포함하는 약제학적 조성물.
- 제 25항에 있어서, (c) 인슐린 분비를 증가시키거나, 인슐린 감수성을 증가시키거나, 위장관로로부터의 당의 흡수를 감소시키거나, 혈당 조절에 영향을 주는 내인성 펩티드 또는 단백질의 효과를 향상시키거나, 또는 혈당 조절에 영향을 주는 내인성 펩티드 또는 단백질의 대체물을 제공하거나, 또는 이들의 임의 조합인 공지 의 제2 약제로 구성되는 군에서 선택되는 제2 약제를 추가적으로 포함하는 약제학적 조성물.
- 디펩티딜 펩티다제 IV를, 제 1항 또는 18항의, 화학식 (I) 화합물의 시트레이트 또는 타르트레이트 염, 또는 그의 씨클릭 이성질체 또는 그의 임의의 수화물 또는 용매화물 유효량과 접촉시키는 것을 포함하는, 디펩티딜 펩티다제-IV의 억제 방법.
- 제 27항에 있어서, 디펩티딜 펩티다제-IV는 디펩티딜 펩티다제-IV의 억제를 통하여 조절 또는 정상화될 수 있는 이상에 대한 치료를 필요로 하는 포유동물 내에 존재하며, 접촉 단계는 화학식 (I) 화합물의 시트레이트 또는 타르트레이트 염 또는 그의 씨클릭 이성질체 또는 그의 임의의 수화물 또는 용매화물의 치료적 유효량을 포유동물에게 투여하는 것을 포함하는 방법.

- 제 28항에 있어서, 인슐린 분비를 증가시키거나, 인슐린 감수성을 증가시키거나, 위장관로로부터의 당의 흡수를 감소시키거나, 혈당 조절에 영향을 주는 내인 성 펩티드 또는 단백질의 효과를 향상시키거나, 또는 혈당 조절에 영향을 주는 내인성 펩티드 또는 단백질의 대체물을 제공하거나, 또는 이들의 임의 조합인 공지의 제2 약제로 구성되는 군에서 선택되는 제2 약제의 치료적 유효량을 투여하는 것을 추가적으로 포함하는 방법.

- 제 32항에 있어서, 화학식 (I) 화합물의 시트레이트 또는 타르트레이트 염의 수용액을 분무 건조 또는 냉동 건조시켜, 화학식 (I) 화합물의 시트레이트 또는 타르트레이트 염의 고체 형태를 제공하는 것을 추가적으로 포함하는 방법.
