Claims (29)

- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 유전체는 폴리아미드를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 커넥터.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 유전체는 회로 카드에 대한 볼 그리드 어레이 연결을 위해 땜납 볼을 수용하는 리세스를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 커넥터.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 유전체는 유전체의 평면 내로 사실상 연장하는 핑거를 포함하고, 상기 신호 도체는 핑거를 따라 연장하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 커넥터.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 접지 평면은 단부에서 연장하는 복수개의 접지 접촉 핀을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 커넥터.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 접지 평면은 사실상 연속적이며, 상기 신호 도체는 복수개인 일 평면 차동 쌍의 호 도체를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 커넥터.
- 제6항에 있어서, 각각의 신호 도체는 연속 접지 평면에 인접하여 위치하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 커넥터.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 접지 평면은 인청동을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 커넥터.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 접지 평면의 일부는 유전체 상에 도금 및 에칭되는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 커넥터.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 신호 도체는 신호 접촉 핀을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 커넥터.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 신호 도체의 일부는 유전체 상에 도금 및 에칭되는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 커넥터.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 신호 도체는 제1 섹션 및 상기 제1 섹션에 대해 약 90도로 배치된 제2 섹션을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 커넥터.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 신호 도체는 차동 쌍의 호 도체를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 커넥터.
- 제13항에 있어서, 각각의 신호 도체는 상기 접지 평면에 사실상 평행한 제1 평면 내에 위치하며, 각각의 신호 도체는 접지 평면에 사실상 직교하는 제2 평면 내에 위치하는 신호 접촉 핀을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 커넥터.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 신호 도체는 복수개인 차동 쌍의 신호 도체를 포함하고, 차동 쌍의 신호 도체 내의 도체들은 2개의 인접 차동 쌍의 도체보다 더 가깝게 위치되는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 커넥터.
- 사실상 서로 평행하게 위치하는 복수개의 연결 모듈을 포함하고,각각의 모듈은 사실상 평탄한 유전체와,상기 유전체의 일 평탄면 상에 배치된 사실상 평탄한 접지 평면과,상기 유전체의 다른 평탄면 상에 배치된 신호 도체를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 커넥터.
- 제16항에 있어서, 각각의 연결 모듈에 대해, 상기 신호 도체는 복수개의 차동 쌍의 신호 도체를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 커넥터.
- 제17항에 있어서, 각각의 연결 모듈에 대해, 각각의 신호 도체는 접지 평면에 사실상 평행한 제1 평면 내에 위치하며, 차동 쌍의 신호 도체의 각각은 한 쌍의 신호 접촉 핀을 포함하고, 신호 접촉 핀의 각각은 상기 접지 평면에 사실상 직교하는 평면 내에 위치하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 커넥터.
- 제18항에 있어서, 각각의 연결 모듈에 대해, 상기 접지 평면은 각각의 차동 쌍의 신호 도체에 대한 접지 접촉 핀을 포함하고, 각각의 접지 접촉 핀은 신호 접촉 핀의 대응 쌍과 사실상 동일 평면에 위치하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 커넥터.
- 헤더 커넥터와,리셉터클 커넥터를 포함하고,헤더 커넥터는 사실상 서로 평행하게 위치하는 복수개의 연결 모듈을 포함하고,각각의 모듈은 사실상 평탄한 유전체와, 상기 유전체의 일 평탄면 상에 배치된 사실상 평탄한 접지 평면과, 상기 유전체의 다른 평탄면 상에 배치된 복수개인 차동 쌍의 신호 도체를 포함하고, 각각의 연결 모듈에 대해, 각각의 신호 도체는 접지 평면에 사실상 평행한 제1 평면 내에 위치하며, 차동 쌍의 신호 도체의 각각은 한 쌍의 신호 접촉 핀을 포함하고, 신호 접촉 핀의 각각은 상기 접지 평면에 사실상 직교하는 평면 내에 위치하고 상기 접기 평면은 차동 쌍의 신호 도체의 각각에 대한 접지 접촉 핀을 포함하고, 각각의 접지 접촉 핀은 신호 접촉 핀의 대응 쌍과 사실상 동일 평면에 위치하며,리셉터클 커넥터는 신호 접촉 핀과 접지 접촉 핀을 수용하는 복수개의 리셉터클 접촉부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기적 상호 연결 시스템.
- 제20항에 있어서, 상기 복수개의 리셉터클 접촉부는 사실상 원통형 형상인 것을 특징으로 하는 전기적 상호 연결 시스템.
- 제20항에 있어서, 상기 복수개의 리셉터클 접촉부는 행과 열의 어레이로 배열되는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기적 상호 연결 시스템.
- 제22항에 있어서, 상기 열은 제1, 제2 및 제3 열의 반복 패턴으로 배열되고, 상기 제1 및 제2 열은 상기 제2 및 제3 열보다 더 멀리 이격되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기적 상호 연결 시스템.
- 제22항에 있어서, 상기 열은 제1, 제2 및 제3 열의 반복 패턴으로 배열되고, 상기 제1 및 제2 열은 차동 쌍의 신호 접촉 핀에 연결하기 위한 것이고, 제3 열은 접지 접촉 핀에 연결하기 위한 것인 것을 특징으로 하는 전기적 상호 연결 시스템.
- 전기 커넥터를 제조하는 방법이며,사실상 평탄한 유전체를 제공하는 단계와,상기 유전체의 일 표면 상에 복수개의 도체를 에칭하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제25항에 있어서, 상기 유전체의 다른 표면 상에 사실상 연속인 접지 평면을 에칭하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제25항에 있어서, 상기 유전체의 다른 표면 상에 사실상 연속인 접지 평면을 연결하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제25항에 있어서, 상기 복수개의 도체 각각의 단부 각각에 커넥터를 연결하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제28항에 있어서, 각각의 도체에 대해 커넥터를 연결하는 단계는 상기 도체의 일단부에 접촉 핀을 연결하는 단계와 상기 도체의 다른 단부에 땜납 볼을 연결하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
