- 강의 연속 주조에 사용하는 구리제 주형 구리판 또는 구리 합금제 주형 구리판의, 적어도 주조 중의 용강의 메니스커스 위치를 포함하는 영역의 내표면에 복수의 오목부를 형성하고, 그 오목부에 주형 구리판과는 열전도율이 상이한 금속을 충전하고, 그 충전 금속이 2 층 이상의 적층으로 이루어지고, 각 층은 오목부의 저부로부터 개구부를 향하여 주형의 내표면의 법선 방향으로 적층되고,
두께 30 ∼ 500 ㎛ 의 니켈 도금층 혹은 니켈 7 ∼ 35 질량%, 잔부 코발트의 코발트-니켈 합금 도금층인 제 1 층을 형성한 후, 당해 니켈 도금층 혹은 코발트-니켈 합금 도금층에 레이저 광을 조사하여 도금층을 용융하고, 구리를 1 ∼ 20 질량% 함유하는 니켈-구리 합금 혹은 코발트-니켈-구리 합금을 형성하고,

주형 구리판으로부터의 구리의 확산에 의해, 구리를 1 ∼ 20 질량% 함유하는 제 1 층의 니켈-구리 합금 혹은 코발트-니켈-구리 합금을 형성한 후, 또는, 형성함과 동시에, 제 2 층 이후로서 니켈 분말 또는 니켈기 합금 분말을 공급하면서 레이저 광을 조사하고, 니켈 분말 또는 니켈기 합금 분말을 용융하고, 응고시켜 형성한 니켈층 또는 니켈기 합금층을 다층 빌드업한 피복층을 형성하고, 구리의 함유량이, 1 ∼ 20 질량% 인 상기 제 1 층으로부터 최표면층을 향해서 단계적으로 감소하는 경사 조성 피복층을 형성하는, 연속 주조용 주형의 제조 방법.
