Claims (20)
- 제1 방향으로 연장되는 게이트 라인;
상기 제1 방향과 교차하는 제2 방향으로 연장되는 데이터 라인;
상기 게이트 라인 및 상기 데이터 라인과 연결되는 트랜지스터 및 상기 트랜지스터와 화소 전극을 연결하는 컨택홀이 배치되는 제1 영역과, 상기 화소 전극이 배치되는 제2 영역을 포함하는 화소를 포함하되,
상기 화소 전극은 서로 다른 전압이 제공되는 제1 부화소 전극 및 제2 부화소 전극을 더 포함하고,
상기 트랜지스터는 상기 제1 부화소 전극과 연결되는 제1 트랜지스터와, 상기 제2 부화소 전극과 연결되는 제2 트랜지스터를 포함하고,
상기 데이터 라인은 상기 제1 부화소 전극과 상기 제2 부화소 전극 사이에 배치되고, 상기 데이터 라인을 따라 인가되는 데이터 신호가 상기 제1 트랜지스터 및 상기 제2 트랜지스터를 통해 각각 제1 부화소 전극과 상기 제2 부화소 전극에 전달되고,
상기 제1 영역 상에서 상기 제1 방향을 따라 연장되는 임의의 직선 상의 두 점 사이의 거리의 최대값인 제1 폭의 길이는 상기 제1 영역 상에서 상기 제2 방향을 따라 연장되는 임의의 직선 상의 두 점 사이의 거리의 최대값인 제2 폭의 길이보다 길고,
상기 제2 영역 상에서 상기 제1 방향을 따라 연장되는 임의의 직선 상의 두 점 사이의 거리의 최대값인 제3 폭의 길이는 상기 제2 영역 상에서 상기 제2 방향을 따라 연장되는 임의의 직선 상의 두 점 사이의 거리의 최대값인 제4 폭의 길이보다 긴 액정 표시 장치. - 제1 항에 있어서,
상기 게이트 라인 및 상기 제1 영역의 제1 트랜지스터 및 제2 트랜지스터와 오버랩되도록 배치되는 차광 부재를 더 포함하는 액정 표시 장치. - 제1 항에 있어서,
상기 컨택홀은 상기 제1 부화소 전극과 상기 제1 트랜지스터를 연결하는 제1 컨택홀과, 상기 제2 부화소 전극과 상기 제2 트랜지스터를 연결하는 제2 컨택홀을 포함하는 액정 표시 장치. - 제3 항에 있어서,
상기 제1 영역에는 상기 제1 및 제2 트랜지스터와 상기 제1 및 제2 컨택홀이 배치되고,
상기 제2 영역에는 상기 제1 및 제2 부화소 전극이 배치되는 액정 표시 장치. - 제4 항에 있어서,
상기 제1 트랜지스터와 상기 제2 트랜지스터는 상기 제1 영역 내에서 상기 제1 방향으로 서로 인접하여 배치되는 액정 표시 장치. - 제4 항에 있어서,
상기 제1 및 제2 트랜지스터는 모두 상기 게이트 라인과 인접하도록 배치되는 액정 표시 장치. - 제1 항에 있어서,
상기 제2 방향으로 인접하는 각각의 상기 화소는 서로 다른 파장 영역대의 광을 투과시키는 액정 표시 장치. - 제7 항에 있어서,
상기 제1 방향으로 인접하는 각각의 상기 화소는 서로 동일한 파장 영역대의 광을 투과시키는 액정 표시 장치. - 제2 항에 있어서,
상기 제1 방향으로 인접하는 두 개의 상기 화소에 배치되는 상기 화소 전극 사이의 영역에는 상기 차광 부재가 배치되지 않는 액정 표시 장치. - 일 평면상에서 좌측에서 우측을 향하는 제1 방향 및 상기 일 평면상에서 상기 제1 방향과 교차하는 제2 방향을 따라 인접하여 배치되는 매트릭스 배열의 복수의 화소가 배치되는 표시 영역;
상기 표시 영역 상에 상기 제1 방향으로 연장되는 복수의 게이트 라인;
상기 표시 영역 상에 상기 제2 방향으로 연장되는 복수의 데이터 라인; 및
상기 표시 영역 상에 각각의 상기 화소의 일부 영역 및 복수의 상기 게이트 라인과 오버랩되도록 배치되는 차광 부재를 포함하되,
상기 표시 영역은 중심으로부터 좌측에 배치되는 제1 서브 표시 영역 및 중심으로부터 우측에 배치되는 제2 서브 표시 영역을 포함하고,
각각의 상기 화소는 상기 게이트 라인 및 상기 데이터 라인과 연결되는 트랜지스터 및 상기 트랜지스터와 화소 전극을 연결하는 컨택홀이 배치되는 영역인 제1 영역과, 상기 화소 전극이 배치되는 제2 영역을 포함하며,
상기 화소 전극은 서로 다른 전압이 제공되는 제1 부화소 전극 및 제2 부화소 전극을 더 포함하고,
상기 트랜지스터는 상기 제1 부화소 전극과 연결되는 제1 트랜지스터와, 상기 제2 부화소 전극과 연결되는 제2 트랜지스터를 포함하고,
상기 복수의 데이터 라인 중 하나의 데이터 라인은 상기 제1 부화소 전극과 상기 제2 부화소 전극 사이에 배치되고, 상기 데이터 라인을 따라 인가되는 데이터 신호가 상기 제1 트랜지스터 및 상기 제2 트랜지스터를 통해 각각 제1 부화소 전극과 상기 제2 부화소 전극에 전달되고,
상기 제1 서브 표시 영역의 상기 화소의 일부 영역과 오버랩되도록 배치되는 상기 차광 부재는 상기 제1 영역과 동일한 모양으로 형성되되 상기 제1 영역으로부터 우측으로 치우치도록 배치되고,
상기 제2 서브 표시 영역의 상기 화소의 일부 영역과 오버랩되도록 배치되는 상기 차광 부재는 상기 제1 영역과 동일한 모양으로 형성되되 상기 제1 영역으로부터 좌측으로 치우치도록 배치되는 액정 표시 장치. - 제10 항에 있어서,
상기 제1 서브 표시 영역 및 상기 제2 서브 표시 영역의 경계 상에 배치되는 상기 화소의 일부 영역과 오버랩되도록 배치되는 상기 차광 부재는 상기 제1 영역과 오버랩되도록 배치되는 액정 표시 장치. - 제10 항에 있어서,
상기 제1 서브 표시 영역의 중심의 상기 화소에 배치되는 상기 차광 부재가 상기 제1 영역으로부터 우측으로 치우쳐진 정도는 상기 제1 서브 표시 영역의 중심으로부터 좌측 또는 우측의 상기 화소에 배치되는 상기 차광 부재가 상기 제1 영역으로부터 우측으로 치우쳐진 정도보다 큰 액정 표시 장치. - 제10 항에 있어서,
상기 제2 서브 표시 영역의 중심의 상기 화소에 배치되는 상기 차광 부재가 상기 제1 영역으로부터 좌측으로 치우쳐진 정도는 상기 제2 서브 표시 영역의 중심으로부터 좌측 또는 우측의 상기 화소에 배치되는 상기 차광 부재가 상기 제1 영역으로부터 좌측으로 치우쳐진 정도보다 큰 액정 표시 장치. - 제10 항에 있어서,
상기 제1 영역 상에서 상기 제1 방향을 따라 연장되는 임의의 직선 상의 두 점 사이의 거리의 최대값인 제1 폭의 길이는 상기 제1 영역 상에서 상기 제2 방향을 따라 연장되는 임의의 직선 상의 두 점 사이의 거리의 최대값인 제2 폭의 길이보다 길고,
상기 제2 영역 상에서 상기 제1 방향을 따라 연장되는 임의의 직선 상의 두 점 사이의 거리의 최대값인 제3 폭의 길이는 상기 제2 영역 상에서 상기 제2 방향을 따라 연장되는 임의의 직선 상의 두 점 사이의 거리의 최대값인 제4 폭의 길이보다 긴 액정 표시 장치. - 제14 항에 있어서,
상기 컨택홀은 상기 제1 부화소 전극과 상기 제1 트랜지스터를 연결하는 제1 컨택홀과, 상기 제2 부화소 전극과 상기 제2 트랜지스터를 연결하는 제2 컨택홀을 포함하고,
상기 제1 영역에는 상기 제1 및 제2 트랜지스터와 상기 제1 및 제2 컨택홀이 배치되고,
상기 제2 영역에는 상기 제1 및 제2 부화소 전극이 배치되는 액정 표시 장치. - 제15 항에 있어서,
상기 제1 트랜지스터와 상기 제2 트랜지스터는 상기 제1 영역 내에서 상기 제1 방향으로 인접하여 배치되는 액정 표시 장치. - 제15 항에 있어서,
상기 제1 및 제2 트랜지스터는 모두 상기 게이트 라인과 인접하도록 배치되는 액정 표시 장치. - 제10 항에 있어서,
상기 제2 방향으로 인접하는 각각의 상기 화소는 서로 다른 파장 영역대의 광을 투과시키는 액정 표시 장치. - 제18 항에 있어서,
상기 제1 방향으로 인접하는 각각의 상기 화소는 서로 동일한 파장 영역대의 광을 투과시키는 액정 표시 장치. - 제10 항에 있어서,
상기 제1 방향으로 인접하는 두 개의 상기 화소에 배치되는 상기 화소 전극 사이의 영역에는 상기 차광 부재가 배치되지 않는 액정 표시 장치.
