Claims (20)
- 기판;
상기 기판 상에 서로 평행하게 연장된 제1 데이터 라인 및 제2 데이터 라인;
상기 기판 상에 배치되며 상기 제1 데이터 라인과 연결된 제1 박막 트랜지스터;
상기 기판 상에 배치되며 상기 제2 데이터 라인과 연결된 제2 박막 트랜지스터;
상기 제1 및 제2 데이터 라인, 상기 제1 및 제2 박막 트랜지스터 상에 배치되며, 상기 제1 박막 트랜지스터와 연결된 제1 서브 화소 전극;
상기 제1 및 제2 데이터 라인, 상기 제1 및 제2 박막 트랜지스터 상에 배치되며, 상기 제2 박막 트랜지스터와 연결된 제2 서브 화소 전극을 포함하되,
상기 제1 서브 화소 전극은 제1 줄기 전극, 상기 제1 줄기 전극으로부터 연장된 복수의 제1 가지 전극, 상기 제1 박막 트랜지스터와 직접 접촉되는 제1 확장 전극, 상기 제1 줄기 전극 또는 상기 제1 가지 전극 중 어느 하나와 상기 제1 확장 전극을 연결하는 제1 연결 전극, 및 상기 제1 줄기 전극 또는 상기 제1 가지 전극 중 어느 하나와 직접 연결된 제1 보상 전극을 포함하고,
상기 제1 보상 전극은 상기 제1 확장 전극 및 상기 제1 연결 전극과 직접 연결되지 않고,
상기 제1 보상 전극은 상기 제1 데이터 라인과 중첩되지 않고,
상기 제1 서브 화소 전극이 상기 제1 데이터 라인과 중첩되는 면적은 상기 제1 서브 화소 전극이 상기 제2 데이터 라인과 중첩되는 면적과 동일한 액정 표시 장치. - 삭제
- 제1 항에 있어서,
상기 제1 연결 전극은 상기 제1 데이터 라인과 교차하도록 배치되는 액정 표시 장치. - 제3 항에 있어서,
상기 제1 연결 전극과 상기 제1 데이터 라인이 중첩되는 면적은 상기 제1 보상 전극과 상기 제2 데이터 라인이 중첩되는 면적과 동일한 액정 표시 장치. - 제1 항에 있어서,
상기 기판과 상기 제1 서브 화소 전극 및 상기 제2 서브 화소 전극 사이 층에 배치된 유지 전극을 더 포함하되,
상기 제1 보상 전극은 상기 유지 전극과 중첩되지 않는 액정 표시 장치. - 제1 항에 있어서,
상기 제1 서브 화소 전극은 상기 제1 데이터 라인 및 상기 제2 데이터 라인과 일부 영역에서 중첩되는 액정 표시 장치. - 제6 항에 있어서,
상기 제2 서브 화소 전극은 상기 제1 데이터 라인 및 상기 제2 데이터 라인과 중첩되지 않는 액정 표시 장치. - 제1 항에 있어서,
상기 제2 서브 화소 전극은 제2 줄기 전극, 상기 제2 줄기 전극으로부터 연장된 복수의 제2 가지 전극, 상기 제2 박막 트랜지스터와 연결되는 제2 확장 전극, 상기 제2 줄기 전극 또는 상기 제2 가지 전극 중 어느 하나와 상기 제2 확장 전극을 연결하는 제2 연결 전극을 포함하는 액정 표시 장치. - 제1 항에 있어서,
상기 화소는 제1 전계 제어 영역 및 제2 전계 제어 영역을 더 포함하되,
상기 제1 전계 제어 영역에 형성되는 전기장의 세기는 상기 제1 데이터 라인에 제공된 전압에 의하여 제어되고,
상기 제2 전계 제어 영역에 형성되는 전기장의 세기는 상기 제2 데이터 라인에 제공된 전압에 의하여 제어되는 액정 표시 장치. - 제9 항에 있어서,
상기 제1 줄기 전극, 상기 제1 가지 전극은 상기 제1 전계 제어 영역 내에 배치된 액정 표시 장치. - 제10 항에 있어서,
상기 제1 확장 전극, 상기 제1 연결 전극 및 상기 제1 보상 전극은 상기 제1 전계 제어 영역 외부에 배치된 액정 표시 장치. - 제1 항에 있어서,
상기 제1 서브 화소 전극은 상기 제1 가지 전극들의 끝단을 연결하되, 상기 제1 데이터 라인 및 상기 제2 데이터 라인이 연장된 방향과 동일한 방향으로 연장된 제1 가장자리 전극을 더 포함하는 액정 표시 장치. - 제1 항에 있어서,
상기 제1 서브 화소 전극과 상기 제1 데이터 라인간에 형성되는 커패시턴스는 상기 제1 서브 화소 전극과 상기 제2 데이터 라인간에 형성되는 커패시턴스와 동일한 액정 표시 장치. - 제1 항에 있어서,
상기 기판과 상기 제1 서브 화소 전극 및 상기 제2 서브 화소 전극 사이 층에 배치되며, 상기 제1 데이터 라인 및 상기 제2 데이터 라인과 교차하도록 연장된 게이트 라인을 더 포함하되,
상기 제1 박막 트랜지스터와 상기 제2 박막 트랜지스터는 상기 게이트 라인과 연결된 액정 표시 장치. - 기판;
상기 기판 상에 서로 평행하게 연장된 제1 데이터 라인 및 제2 데이터 라인;
상기 기판 상에 배치되며 상기 제1 데이터 라인과 연결된 박막 트랜지스터;
상기 제1 및 제2 데이터 라인, 상기 박막 트랜지스터 상에 배치되며, 상기 박막 트랜지스터와 연결된 화소 전극을 포함하되,
상기 화소 전극은 줄기 전극, 상기 줄기 전극으로부터 연장된 복수의 가지 전극, 상기 박막 트랜지스터와 직접 접촉되는 확장 전극, 상기 줄기 전극 또는 상기 가지 전극 중 어느 하나와 상기 확장 전극을 연결하는 연결 전극, 및 상기 줄기 전극 또는 상기 가지 전극 중 어느 하나와 직접 연결된 보상 전극을 포함하고,
상기 보상 전극은 상기 확장 전극 및 상기 연결 전극과 직접 연결되지 않고,
상기 보상 전극은 상기 제1 데이터 라인과 중첩되지 않고,
상기 화소 전극이 상기 제1 데이터 라인과 중첩되는 면적은 상기 화소 전극이 상기 제2 데이터 라인과 중첩되는 면적과 동일한 액정 표시 장치. - 삭제
- 제15 항에 있어서,
상기 연결 전극은 상기 제1 데이터 라인과 교차하도록 배치되는 액정 표시 장치. - 제17 항에 있어서,
상기 연결 전극과 상기 제1 데이터 라인이 중첩되는 면적은 상기 보상 전극과 상기 제2 데이터 라인이 중첩되는 면적과 동일한 액정 표시 장치. - 제15 항에 있어서,
상기 화소 전극은 상기 가지 전극들의 끝단을 연결하되, 상기 제1 데이터 라인 및 상기 제2 데이터 라인이 연장된 방향과 동일한 방향으로 연장된 가장자리 전극을 더 포함하는 액정 표시 장치. - 제15 항에 있어서,
상기 화소 전극과 상기 제1 데이터 라인간에 형성되는 커패시턴스는 상기 화소 전극과 상기 제2 데이터 라인간에 형성되는 커패시턴스와 동일한 액정 표시 장치.
