Claims (15)
- 종축을 갖는, 현저한 온도 변동이 가해지는 환경에서 사용하기 위한 컨베이어 롤 조립체(conveyor roll assembly)에 사용하기 위한 일체형 금속 단부 캡(integral metal end cap)(3)으로서,
회전 수단에 연결가능한 제1 단부(4) 및 제2 단부(5)를 포함하고,
제2 단부(5)는 2개의 단부를 갖는 일체형 몸체, 세라믹 스풀(ceramic spool)의 단부 위에 끼워맞춰지도록 구성되는 내경(D), 및 L > 0.3D인 길이(L)를 포함하고, 상기 일체형 몸체는 일체형 몸체의 종축을 따라 적어도 3개의 연속되는 부분을 포함하고, 일체형 몸체의 2개의 단부 부분은 연속적인 표면 및 이들 부분들 사이의 하나의 토크 전달 부분(torque transmission portion)을 포함하고, 상기 토크 전달 부분은 종축의 방향으로 길이 Lb < L인 복수의 개구(6)를 포함하며, 토크를 스풀에 전달하도록 세라믹 스풀 상에의 단부 캡의 조립 중에 그리고 온도 변동 중에 기계적으로 그리고 탄성적으로 변형가능하고 내향으로 연장되는 복수의 스트립(strip)(7)을 개구들 사이에 한정하고, 상기 스트립은 나사형 구멍을 갖지 않는 것인 일체형 금속 단부 캡(3). - 제1항에 있어서, 상기 개구는 장방형(oblong)인 것인 일체형 금속 단부 캡.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 개구는 종방향이고, 동일한 길이를 갖고, 세라믹 스풀의 종축에 평행한 것인 일체형 금속 단부 캡.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 개구는 롤 상에 균일하게 분포되는 것인 일체형 금속 단부 캡.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 내향으로 연장되는 스트립은 더 두꺼운 부분(8)을 포함하는 것인 일체형 금속 단부 캡.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 스트립의 더 두꺼운 부분은 스트립의 중간에 있는 것인 일체형 금속 단부 캡.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 일체형 몸체는 1 내지 5 mm의 두께를 갖는 것인 일체형 금속 단부 캡.
- 현저한 온도 변동이 가해지는 환경에서 사용하기에 적합한 컨베이어 롤(1) 조립체로서,
a) 종축을 갖는 세라믹 스풀(2);
b) 적어도 세라믹 스풀의 일 단부에서, 제1항 또는 제2항에 따른 금속 단부 캡(3)을 포함하는 컨베이어 롤(1) 조립체. - 제8항에 있어서, 상기 세라믹 스풀(2)은 용융 실리카(fused silica), 멀라이트(mullite) 또는 실리마나이트(sillimanite)를 포함하는 것인 컨베이어 롤(1) 조립체.
