Abstract
Description
Claims (13)
- Li, Ni, Co, Mn, Al, Cu 및 Fe를 포함하는 리튬 이온 전지 스크랩을 처리하는 방법이며, 배소 공정, 파쇄 공정 및 체별 공정을 이 순서로 행하고, 그 후,
리튬 이온 전지 스크랩을 산성 용액에 첨가하여 침출시켜, Cu의 적어도 일부를 고체로서 남기는 침출 공정과,
침출 공정에서 얻어지는 침출후액이, 산화제의 첨가에 의해 Fe를 분리시켜 제거하는 탈Fe 과정, 및 중화에 의해 pH를 4.0~6.0의 범위 내, ORP값(ORP vs Ag/AgCl)을 -500mV~100mV로 하여 Al의 일부를 분리시켜 제거하는 탈Al 과정을, 순서 부동으로 거치는 것을 포함하는 탈Fe·Al 공정과,
용매 추출에 의해, 탈Fe·Al 공정에서 얻어지는 분리후액으로부터 Al의 잔부 및 Mn을 추출하여 제거하는 Al·Mn 추출 공정과,
용매 추출에 의해, Al·Mn 추출 공정에서 얻어지는 제1 추출후액으로부터 Co를 추출함과 함께 역추출하고, 전해 채취에 의해 Co를 회수하는 Co 회수 공정과,
용매 추출에 의해, Co 회수 공정의 용매 추출에 의해 얻어지는 제2 추출후액으로부터 Ni의 일부를 추출함과 함께 역추출하고, 전해 채취에 의해 당해 Ni를 회수하는 Ni 회수 공정과,
용매 추출에 의해, Ni 회수 공정의 용매 추출에 의해 얻어지는 제3 추출후액으로부터 Ni의 잔부 및 Li를 추출함과 함께 역추출하고, 당해 추출 및 역추출의 조작을 반복하여 Li를 농축하는 Li 농축 공정과,
Li 농축 공정에서 얻어지는 Li 농축액 중의 Li를 탄산화하여, 탄산리튬으로서 회수하는 Li 회수 공정을
행하는 것을 포함하는, 리튬 이온 전지 스크랩의 처리 방법. - 제1항에 있어서,
Ni 회수 공정의 용매 추출에서, 상기 제2 추출후액에 대해, 카르복실산계 추출제를 사용하는, 리튬 이온 전지 스크랩의 처리 방법. - 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서,
Li 회수 공정에 앞서, Li 농축 공정에서 얻어지는 Li 농축액을 중화하여, 상기 Ni의 잔부를 회수하는 중화 공정을 더 포함하는, 리튬 이온 전지 스크랩의 처리 방법. - 제3항에 있어서,
상기 중화 공정에서, Li 농축액의 pH를 10∼13의 범위 내로 하는, 리튬 이온 전지 스크랩의 처리 방법. - Li, Co, Al, Cu 및 Fe를 포함하고, Ni를 포함하지 않는 리튬 이온 전지 스크랩을 처리하는 방법이며, 배소 공정, 파쇄 공정 및 체별 공정을 이 순서로 행하고, 그 후,
리튬 이온 전지 스크랩을 산성 용액에 첨가하여 침출시켜, Cu의 적어도 일부를 고체로서 남기는 침출 공정과,
침출 공정에서 얻어지는 침출후액이, 산화제의 첨가에 의해 Fe를 분리시켜 제거하는 탈Fe 과정, 및 중화에 의해 pH를 4.0~6.0의 범위 내, ORP값(ORP vs Ag/AgCl)을 -500mV~100mV로 하여 Al의 일부를 분리시켜 제거하는 탈Al 과정을, 순서 부동으로 거치는 것을 포함하는 탈Fe·Al 공정과,
용매 추출에 의해, 탈Fe·Al 공정에서 얻어지는 분리후액으로부터 Al의 잔부 및 Mn을 추출하여 제거하는 Al·Mn 추출 공정과,
용매 추출에 의해, Al·Mn 추출 공정에서 얻어지는 제1 추출후액으로부터 Co를 추출함과 함께 역추출하고, 전해 채취에 의해 Co를 회수하는 Co 회수 공정과,
용매 추출에 의해, Co 회수 공정의 용매 추출에 의해 얻어지는 제2 추출후액으로부터 Li를 추출함과 함께 역추출하고, 당해 추출 및 역추출의 조작을 반복하여 Li를 농축하는 Li 농축 공정과,
Li 농축 공정에서 얻어지는 Li 농축액 중의 Li를 탄산화하여, 탄산리튬으로서 회수하는 Li 회수 공정을
행하는 것을 포함하는, 리튬 이온 전지 스크랩의 처리 방법. - 제1항, 제2항 및 제5항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
탈Fe·Al 공정의 탈Fe 과정에서 사용하는 상기 산화제가 Mn을 포함하는, 리튬 이온 전지 스크랩의 처리 방법. - 제1항, 제2항 및 제5항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
침출 공정에서, 산성 용액의 pH를 0∼2로 하고, 산화 환원 전위(ORP vs Ag/AgCl)를 -500㎷∼0mV로 하는, 리튬 이온 전지 스크랩의 처리 방법. - 제1항, 제2항 및 제5항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
탈Fe·Al 공정의 탈Fe 과정에서 pH를 3.0∼4.0의 범위 내로 조정하고, 탈Al 공정에서 pH를 4.0∼6.0의 범위 내로 조정하는, 리튬 이온 전지 스크랩의 처리 방법. - 제1항, 제2항 및 제5항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
Al·Mn 추출 공정에서, 상기 분리후액에 대해, 인산에스테르계 추출제 및 옥심계 추출제를 포함하는 추출제를 사용하는, 리튬 이온 전지 스크랩의 처리 방법. - 제1항, 제2항 및 제5항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
Co 회수 공정의 용매 추출에서, 상기 제1 추출후액에 대해, 포스폰산에스테르계 추출제를 사용하는, 리튬 이온 전지 스크랩의 처리 방법. - 제1항, 제2항 및 제5항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
Li 농축 공정의 용매 추출에서, 2-에틸헥실포스폰산2-에틸헥실 또는 디-2-에틸헥실인산을 포함하는 추출제를 사용하는, 리튬 이온 전지 스크랩의 처리 방법. - 제1항, 제2항 및 제5항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
Li 회수 공정에서, Li의 탄산화를, Li 농축액에 대한 탄산염의 첨가 또는 탄산 가스의 불어 넣기에 의해 행하는, 리튬 이온 전지 스크랩의 처리 방법. - 제1항, 제2항 및 제5항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
Li 회수 공정에서, 상기 탄산리튬을 리펄프 세정함과 함께, 탄산 가스를 불어 넣은 후, 고액 분리에 의해 불순물을 제거하고, 탄산리튬을 정제하는, 리튬 이온 전지 스크랩의 처리 방법.
