Claims (51)
- 제1 코팅 액체의 공급원과 유동 연통하는 외부 개구를 포함하는 코팅 헤드를 제공하는 단계;
외부 개구와 기재(substrate) 사이에 간극(gap)을 한정하도록 기재에 대해 코팅 헤드를 위치설정하는 단계;
코팅 방향으로 코팅 헤드와 기재 사이에 상대 운동을 생성하는 단계; 및
미리 결정된 양의 제1 코팅 액체를 외부 개구로부터 기재의 적어도 하나의 주 표면(major surface)의 적어도 일부분 상에 분배하여, 기재의 주 표면의 적어도 일부분 상의 미리 결정된 위치에 제1 코팅 액체의 개별 패치(discrete patch)를 형성하는 단계 - 패치는 두께 및 주연부(perimeter)를 가짐 - 를 포함하며, 제1 코팅 액체는 분배될 때 1 Pa-s 이상의 점도를 나타내고,
선택적으로, 개별 패치를 형성하는 데 스텐실(stencil)이 사용되지 않는, 방법. - 제1항에 있어서, 제1 코팅 액체는 1 sec-1 이상의 전단율(shear rate)에서 분배되고, 선택적으로, 제1 코팅 액체는 100,000 sec-1 이하의 전단율에서 분배되는, 방법.
