Claims (5)
- 차량 주위의 물체의 위치 정보를 검출하는 센서와, 상기 위치 정보에 기초하여 검출되는 복수의 추적 차량의 차간 거리를 추정하는 처리 회로를 사용한 차간 거리 추정 방법이며,
상기 처리 회로는, 장해물에 의해 상기 센서로부터 차폐되는 차폐 영역과, 상기 차폐 영역을 사이에 둔 2개의 비차폐 영역을 추정하고,
상기 2개의 비차폐 영역의 동일 차선 상을 각각 주행하는 2대의 상기 추적 차량의 속도에 기초하여, 상기 차폐 영역의 상기 동일 차선 상을 주행하는 상기 추적 차량에 대한 차간 거리를 추정하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 차간 거리 추정 방법. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 차폐 영역의 동일 차선 상을 주행하는 상기 추적 차량의 속도를 추정하고,
추정된 상기 추적 차량의 속도에 기초하여, 상기 차간 거리를 추정하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 차간 거리 추정 방법. - 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서,
상기 처리 회로는, 상기 복수의 추적 차량이 주행하는 주행 영역을 지도 데이터에서 추정하고, 상기 주행 영역에 있어서 상기 2개의 비차폐 영역을 추정하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 차간 거리 추정 방법. - 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서,
상기 센서는, 상기 추적 차량의 형상 및 색 중 적어도 어느 것을 검출하고,
상기 처리 회로는, 상기 추적 차량의 형상 및 색 중 적어도 어느 것에 기초하여, 상기 추적 차량을 추적하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 차간 거리 추정 방법. - 차량 주위의 물체의 위치 정보를 검출하는 센서와, 상기 위치 정보에 기초하여 검출되는 복수의 추적 차량의 차간 거리를 추정하는 처리 회로를 구비하는 차간 거리 추정 장치이며,
상기 처리 회로는, 장해물에 의해 상기 센서로부터 차폐되는 차폐 영역과, 상기 차폐 영역을 사이에 둔 2개의 비차폐 영역을 추정하고,
상기 2개의 비차폐 영역을 각각 주행하는 2대의 상기 추적 차량의 속도에 기초하여, 상기 차폐 영역을 주행하는 상기 추적 차량의 속도를 추정하고,
추정된 상기 추적 차량의 속도에 기초하여, 상기 복수의 추적 차량의 차간 거리를 추정하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 차간 거리 추정 장치.
