도 2는 도 1의 스택/폴딩형 전극조립체의 제조 공정에서 단위 셀들의 배열 조합을 예시적으로 도시한 모식도이다;
도 3은 본 발명의 하나의 실시예에 따른 전극조립체의 단면도이다;
도 4는 도 3의 전극조립체의 제조 공정에서 전극들의 배열 조합을 예시적으로 도시한 모식도이다;
도 5는 본 발명의 또 다른 실시예에 따른 전극조립체의 단면도이다;
도 6은 도 5의 전극조립체의 제조 공정에서 전극들의 배열 조합을 예시적으로 도시한 모식도이다.
Claims (17)
- 집전체의 일면 또는 양면에 양극 활물질층이 도포되어 있는 구조로 이루어진 복수의 양극들, 집전체의 일면 또는 양면에 음극 활물질층이 도포되어 있는 구조로 이루어진 복수의 음극들, 및 양극 및 음극 사이에 개재되는 1 단위의 시트형 분리막을 포함하고 있고;
상기 시트형 분리막은 지그재그 형태로 절곡되어 있으며;
상기 양극과 음극 중의 적어도 한 종류의 전극은, 시트형 분리막의 절곡 부위에 대응하여, 전극의 중앙부가 절곡된 상태로, 분리막을 사이에 두고 반대 극성의 전극에 대면하면서 적층되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전극조립체. - 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 양극과 음극 중의 하나의 전극에서 중앙부가 절곡되어 있고, 양극과 음극은 폭이 서로 상이한 것을 특징으로 하는 전극조립체.
- 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 양극의 중앙부가 절곡되어 있고, 양극의 폭은 음극의 폭을 기준으로 200% 내지 220% 크기인 것을 특징으로 하는 전극조립체.
- 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 음극의 중앙부가 절곡되어 있고, 음극의 폭은 양극의 폭을 기준으로 200% 내지 220% 크기인 것을 특징으로 하는 전극조립체.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 절곡된 중앙부는 전극의 폭을 1/2로 분할하는 중심선에 위치하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전극조립체.
- 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 양극과 음극은, 시트형 분리막의 양면에 대향 배치된 상태에서, 중앙부가 절곡되어 지그재그 형태로 적층되는 것을 특징으로 하는 전극조립체.
- 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 양극 및 음극은, 상대적으로 폭이 넓은 전극과 상대적으로 폭이 좁은 전극이 일측 부위에서 시트형 분리막이 개재된 상태로 대면하도록 배열되고, 상대적으로 폭이 넓은 전극들 사이에 상대적으로 폭이 좁은 전극이 추가적으로 위치하도록 시트형 분리막 상에 배열된 후에 지그재그 형태로 절곡되는 것을 특징으로 하는 전극조립체.
- 제 7 항에 있어서, 상기 일측 부위에서 시트형 분리막이 개재된 상태로 대면하도록 배열되어 있는 두 전극들은, 일측 단부들이 일치하는 위치로 배열되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전극조립체.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 양극 및 음극은 시트형 분리막 상에 접착되어 배치되는 것을 특징으로 하는 전극조립체.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 양극과 음극 각각에서 중앙부가 절곡되어 있고, 양극과 음극은 폭이 서로 동일한 것을 특징으로 하는 전극조립체.
- 제 10 항에 있어서, 상기 양극과 음극은 일부가 중첩되도록 시트형 분리막 상에 배열된 후에 각각의 중앙부가 절곡되어 지그재그 형태로 적층되는 것을 특징으로 하는 전극조립체.
- 제 11 항에 있어서, 상기 양극과 음극은, 하나의 전극의 일측 단부가 다른 전극의 중앙부에 위치하면서 중첩되도록, 시트형 분리막 상에 배열되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전극조립체.
- 제 11 항에 있어서, 상기 양극 및 음극은 시트형 분리막 상에 접착되어 배치되는 것을 특징으로 하는 전극조립체.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 13 항 중 어느 하나에 따른 전극조립체를 전지케이스 내부에 밀봉하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전지셀.
- 제 14 항에 따른 전지셀을 단위전지로 포함하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전지팩.
- 제 15 항에 따른 전지팩을 포함하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 디바이스.
- 제 16 항에 있어서, 상기 디바이스는 휴대폰, 태블릿 컴퓨터, 노트북 컴퓨터, 전기자동차, 하이브리드 전기자동차, 플러그-인 하이브리드 전기자동차, 및 전력저장장치로부터 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는 디바이스.
