도 2는 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 촉매 산소 퍼지 제어 방법을 나타내는 순서도이다.
도 3은 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 냉간시 촉매 산소 퍼지 실행시 EM 배출 거동을 나타내는 그래프이다.
도 4는 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 온간시 촉매 산소 퍼지 실행시 EM 배출 거동을 나타내는 그래프이다.

- 연소실에서 공기와 연료가 혼합되어 연소된 배기 가스가 배출되고, 배기 가스가 통과하는 삼원 촉매 컨버터를 포함하는 촉매 산소 퍼지 제어 장치의 냉간시 촉매 산소 퍼지 제어 방법으로서,
상기 연소실로 연료를 분사하는 인젝터의 연료 차단(fuel cut) 조건이 만족되는지 판단하는 단계;
상기 연료 차단 조건이 만족되면, 상기 인젝터의 연료 차단을 수행하는 단계;
상기 삼원 촉매 컨버터가 활성화 상태인지 판단하는 단계;
상기 삼원 촉매 컨버터가 활성화 전 상태이면 상기 삼원 촉매 컨버터의 산소 저장 용량을 측정하는 단계;
상기 산소 저장 용량과 냉간시 유효 산소 저장량을 비교하는 단계; 및
상기 비교 결과를 기초로 산소 퍼지 시간을 조절하는 단계를 포함하는 촉매 산소 퍼지 제어 방법. - 제 4 항에서,
상기 냉간시의 냉간 기준은 상기 삼원 촉매 컨버터 촉매층 온도가 400도 미만이며 상기 삼원 촉매 컨버터 활성화 전인 촉매 산소 퍼지 제어 방법. - 제 4 항에서,
상기 냉간시의 냉간 기준은 엔진 시동 후 200초 전이며 삼원 촉매 컨버터 활성화 전인 촉매 산소 퍼지 제어 방법. - 제 4 항에서,
상기 산소 퍼지 시간은 상기 삼원 촉매 컨버터의 산소 저장 용량(oxygen storage capacity)에 의해 연산되는 촉매 산소 퍼지 제어 방법. - 제 7 항에서,
상기 산소 퍼지 시간은 상기 산소 저장 용량이 작을수록 짧게 되는 촉매 산소 퍼지 제어 방법. - 제 4 항에서,
상기 산소 저장 용량은 화학흡착법, 모의활성평가장치, 엔진, 및 차량 중 어느 하나를 활용하여 측정되는 촉매 산소 퍼지 제어 방법.
