Claims (20)
- 몸체(body)를 가지는 형상화 연마입자(shaped abrasive particle)를 포함하는 미립자 소재(particulate material)에 있어서, 상기 몸체는 제1 층; 상기 제1 층에 적층되고 제2 도펀트를 포함하는 제2 층; 및 상기 제1 층 및 상기 제2 층 사이에 배치되는 확산 계면을 포함하는, 미립자 소재.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 확산 계면이 상기 제1 층 및 상기 제2 층 사이 전체 면적에 걸쳐 연장되는, 미립자 소재.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 확산 계면이 상기 몸체의 전체 길이에 걸쳐 연장되는, 미립자 소재.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 확산 계면이 상기 몸체의 전체 폭에 걸쳐 연장되는, 미립자 소재.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1 층 및 제2 층은 서로에 대하여 적어도 상기 제2 도펀트를 유의하게 상이한 농도로 포함하는, 미립자 소재.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 확산 계면은 상기 제1 층에서 상기 제2 도펀트의 농도와 상기 제2 층에서 상기 제2 도펀트의 농도 사이에서 계단 함수 차이를 나타내는, 미립자 소재.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 확산 계면은 제1 도펀트 농도 (D1c)를 가지는 상기 제1 층의 영역 및 제2 도펀트 농도 (D2c)를 가지는 상기 제2 층의 영역을 분리하는, 미립자 소재.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 제1 도펀트 농도 및 상기 제2 도펀트 농도가 유의하게 상이한, 미립자 소재.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1 층이 제1 도펀트 농도의 상기 제2 도펀트를 포함하고, 상기 제2 층이 제2 도펀트 농도의 상기 제2 도펀트를 포함하고, 여기서, 상기 제1 도펀트 농도와 상기 제2 도펀트 농도 사이의 차이는 적어도 약 0.6 wt%의 도펀트 농도 차이 (ΔDc)인, 미립자 소재.
- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 도펀트 농도 차이 (ΔDc)가 약 30 wt% 이하인, 미립자 소재.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1 층이 알칼리 금속원소, 알칼리 토금속원소, 희토류 원소, 하프늄 (Hf), 지르코늄 (Zr), 니오븀 (Nb), 탄탈 (Ta), 몰리브덴 (Mo), 및 이들의 조합으로 이루어진 군에서 선택되는 제1 도펀트를 포함하는, 미립자 소재.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제2 도펀트가 알칼리 금속원소, 알칼리 토금속원소, 희토류 원소, 하프늄 (Hf), 지르코늄 (Zr), 니오븀 (Nb), 탄탈 (Ta), 몰리브덴 (Mo), 및 이들의 조합으로 이루어진 군에서 선택되는, 미립자 소재.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제2 도펀트가 리튬 (Li), 나트륨 (Na), 칼륨 (K), 마그네슘 (Mg), 칼슘 (Ca), 스트론튬 (Sr), 바륨 (Ba), 스칸듐 (Sc), 이트륨 (Y), 란탄 (La), 세슘 (Ce), 프라세오디뮴 (Pr), 니오븀 (Nb), 하프늄 (Hf), 지르코늄 (Zr), 탄탈 (Ta), 몰리브덴 (Mo), 및 이들의 조합으로 이루어진 군에서 선택되는, 미립자 소재.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1 층이 제1 두께를 포함하고, 상기 제2 층이 제2 두께를 포함하고, 여기서, 상기 제1 두께 및 상기 제2 두께는 실질적으로 동일한, 미립자 소재.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1 층이 제1 두께를 포함하고, 상기 제2 층이 제2 두께를 포함하고, 여기서, 상기 제1 두께 및 상기 제2 두께는 서로에 대하여 적어도 약 5% 상이한, 미립자 소재.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제2 도펀트가 지르코늄을 포함하고, 여기서, 상기 제2 도펀트가 본질적으로 지르코니아로 이루어지는, 미립자 소재.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1 층은 상기 몸체의 길이 및 폭으로 정의되는 평면에서 관찰할 때 다각형, 타원형, 숫자, 그리스 알파벳 문자, 라틴 알파벳 문자, 러시아 알파벳 문자, 다각형들의 조합인 복합 형상(complex shape), 및 이들의 조합으로 이루어진 군에서 선택된 제1의 2차원 형상을 가지는, 미립자 소재.
- 제17항에 있어서, 상기 제2 층은 상기 몸체의 길이 및 폭으로 정의되는 평면에서 관찰할 때 다각형, 타원형, 숫자, 그리스 알파벳 문자, 라틴 알파벳 문자, 러시아 알파벳 문자, 다각형들의 조합인 복합 형상, 및 이들의 조합으로 이루어진 군에서 선택된 제2의 2차원 형상을 가지는, 미립자 소재.
- 제18항에 있어서, 상기 제2의 2차원 형상이 상기 제1의 2차원 형상과 상이한, 미립자 소재.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1 층 및 상기 제2 층 사이에 배치되는 중간 층을 추가로 포함하고, 여기서, 상기 확산 계면은 상기 제2 층과 상기 중간 층 사이에 배치되며, 상기 제1 층 및 상기 중간 층의 계면에 배치되는 중간 확산 층을 추가로 포함하는, 미립자 소재.
