Abstract
Description
도면은 열가소성 폴리우레탄 폼 비드를 물품, 예컨대 풋웨어 물품 또는 다른 물품을 위한 성분으로 성형하는 방법에 대한 흐름도를 도시한다.
Claims (21)
- 발포 물품(foamed article)의 성형 방법으로서,
물품 형상의 압축 주형(compression mold)에 소정량의 물을 넣고; 이후 압축 주형에 원하는 양의 열가소성 폴리우레탄 폼 비드를 넣는 단계로서, 열가소성 폴리우레탄 폼 비드는 0.01 내지 0.3 g/㎤의 밀도를 가지며 1.5 내지 20 중량부의 열가소성 폴리우레탄 폼 비드 당 1 중량부의 물이 사용되는 것인 단계;
주형을 폐쇄하는 단계;
300 내지 1500초의 기간에 걸쳐 주형을 130℃ 내지 180℃의 피크 온도에 이르게 하는 단계;
피크 온도에 도달한 후 30초 이내에 300 내지 1500초의 기간에 걸쳐 주형을 5℃ 내지 80℃의 온도로 냉각하는 단계; 및
물품을 꺼내는 단계를 포함하는 성형 방법. - 제1항에 있어서, 3 내지 12 중량부의 열가소성 폴리우레탄 폼 비드 당 1 중량부의 물이 사용되는 것인 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 피크 주형 온도는 140℃ 내지 170℃인 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 열가소성 폴리우레탄 폼 비드는 0.01 내지 0.1 g/㎤의 밀도를 갖는 것인 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 열가소성 폴리우레탄 폼 비드는 ASTM D1238에 따라 측정시 190℃, 21.6kg에서 160 그램/10분 이상의 용융 흐름 지수를 가진 열가소성 폴리우레탄을 포함하는 것인 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 열가소성 폴리우레탄 폼 비드는 ASTM D1238에 따라 측정시 190℃, 21.6kg에서 180 내지 250 그램/10분의 용융 흐름 지수를 가진 엘라스토머성 열가소성 폴리우레탄을 포함하는 것인 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 열가소성 폴리우레탄 폼 비드는 열가소성 폴리에스테르계 폴리우레탄, 폴리에테르계 폴리우레탄, 및 폴리카보네이트계 폴리우레탄으로 이루어진 군에서 선택되는 엘라스토머성 열가소성 폴리우레탄을 포함하는 것인 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 열가소성 폴리우레탄 폼 비드는 엘라스토머성 열가소성 폴리에스테르계 폴리우레탄 및 엘라스토머성 열가소성 폴리에테르계 폴리우레탄 중 하나 이상을 포함하는 것인 방법.
- 제8항에 있어서, 열가소성 폴리우레탄 폼 비드는 디페닐메탄 디이소시아네이트의 반응 생성물인 엘라스토머성 열가소성 폴리에테르계 폴리우레탄을 적어도 포함하는 것인 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 열가소성 폴리우레탄 폼 비드는 0.5 mm 내지 1.5 cm의 직경을 갖는 것인 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 압축 주형에 넣어진 열가소성 폴리우레탄 폼 비드는 촘촘한 외부 스킨(compact outer skin)을 갖는 것인 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 열가소성 폴리우레탄 폼 비드 및 주형은 열가소성 폴리우레탄 폼 비드가 주형에 넣어졌을 때 각각 80℃ 미만의 온도에 있는 것인 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 주형에 넣어지는 열가소성 폴리우레탄 폼 비드의 양은 0.1 내지 0.45 g/㎤의 밀도를 가진 발포 물품을 제공하도록 선택되는 것인 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 주형은 300 내지 1200초의 기간에 걸쳐 피크 온도에 이르는 것인 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 물품은 9 내지 200 마이크로미터의 스킨 두께를 갖는 것인 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 주형은 300 내지 1200초의 기간에 걸쳐 냉각되는 것인 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 주형 냉각은 피크 온도에 도달한 후 0 내지 5초에 개시되는 것인 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 주형은 0.09 내지 0.55℃/초의 속도로 냉각되는 것인 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 발포 물품은 풋웨어에서의 폼 엘리먼트(foam element), 보호 장비에서의 폼 패딩, 패디드 스트랩(padded strap)에서의 패딩, 또는 텍스타일 층들 사이에 놓이는 엘리먼트로부터 선택되는 것인 방법.
- 제19항에 있어서, 물품은 풋웨어 물품의 중창(midsole) 또는 중창의 일부, 갑피(upper)의 일부, 바닥창(outsole) 또는 바닥창의 일부, 또는 안창(sockliner)인 방법.
